Great round of golf with friends!

McCormick Pine has always been a good choice for a nice, challenging round of golf on a park style golf course. IT was a rare afternoon round, but the pace of play was surprisingly good. It also helped that it was a gorgeous day!

A great day at Tonto Verde!

Both courses at this facility are hidden gems and well worth the drive out there. We played the Ranch Course, and even though it had received a lot of rain for several days prior to our round (and subsequently was cart path only) the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were a touch slow, but that was probably becasue they were too wet to mow properly. There are several sets of tees for all ability levels, and the views are absolutely spectacular. The best part was we played in less than 3-1/2 hours!

A good Scottsdale public course

Course was in good shape and playable through the green. Bunkers are very inconsistent! Some are fairly fluffy while other are clay with some sand on top, thus difficult to get the club under the ball. Pace of play was slow - 4-1/2 hours after teeing off at 8 AM. This is nothing new to golf these days but I sure wish people would speed it up a bit. Rates were great on GolfNow.com and definitely worth it.
