Sapphire National Golf Club
Played On 08/30/2016Sapphire Mountain
The course was in great shape although the rough was very deep and was almost impossible to get a club on it, I think recent rains restricted being able to cut. Greens were excellent, fast but fair.
Franklin Golf Course
Played On 07/27/2016This course is more suitable for cows, a real pasture !!!
The fairways and greens are nothing but weeds.

Legacy Golf Club

Never had a bad lie in the fairway, greens were well maintained, fast and true. Very enjoyable.
Lake Marion Golf Course
Played On 9/21/2013This course was in great shape.
This course makes you hit all the shots, it plays longer than the distance on the card as many of your approach shots to the green are at a higher elevation. Greens are in good shape(some bare spots), and are undulating so there are not many straight putts. A challenging experience!
Wyboo Golf Club
Played On 9/20/2013This course was in great shape.
I seldom give a course a 5 star rating but Wyboo deserves it !
Fairways and Greens were in fabulous condition, i saw no areas that were in need of attention.
Santee Cooper Country Club

The course was in great shape, fairways were good, greens excellent. A must play.
South/North at Etowah Valley Country Club & Golf Lodge
Played On 8/28/2013This course was in great shape.
Although this area has suffered with a tremendous amount of rain this summer, it is obvious that the maintenance crew has worked very hard to get the course back in shape. The fairways were freshly cut and the greens were in great shape (large and very receptive). Really fun course with some great views!
The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa - Dogwood/Blue Ridge
Played On 8/25/2013The course is very golfer friendly, your score will make you feel like a real golfer !
The course has great greens, fairways were average but playable. The course from the back tees is less than 6,000 yards so scoring is available.
Sequoyah National Golf Club
Played On 8/15/2013The Mountain views at this course far outweigh the conditions which are being addressed.
Except for the fact that you have to start on a temporary Par 3 (hole #2 is being repaired from a washout), the mountain scenery is spectacular ! The course is only 4 years old so there are still some rough spots in the fairways and a lot of dead spots on the greens. In speaking with one of the staff, they will be replacing the grass on the greens with a new strain that will be more receptive to the rainy climate in this area. The changes in elevation from hole to hole is spectacular !
Shannon Greens Golf Club
Played On 5/17/2013The course is in deplorable condition.
In an attempt to maintain your reputation, I would suggest you take this course off your list. The fairways are full of weeds and when your drive lands, all you see is a cloud of dust. Tees have very little grass and the greens are not in good shape. This was a very sad golfing experience.
