Country Club of Silver Springs Shores

Decent course. Plays longer than the card says. Some good challenging holes...uphill, downhill, long, etc. No rakes in bunkers...don't know why because they don't ensure you get one with the cart. Cart paths are pretty bad. Greens are good with very few being flat. And they play slow. Bunkers have decent sand in them. Cart girl came around twice. Tee boxes are decent. Some holes are pretty short (#4 is a short par 5....too short). There isn't a "Bad" hole.

Greens are in really bad shape, as are most fairways. Back nine is much better. Perfect for the inexperienced golfer.

Greens and fairways are very good. Restrooms are really poor. Cart girl is very good. Tee boxes could use yardage markers for each box. Signs to next tee box could be helpful. Cart paths need resurfacing. Starter was friendly and helpful with good tips about certain holes and greens. A little slow pace, but doable. Gas carts with USB ports.
Ocala National at Golden Hills Country Club

Some blind shots into some greens as you can't see them. Some good doglegs, Some narrow fairways. Some uphill and downhill shots. I love this course for its challenges.
Ocala Golf Club
Played On 01/09/2023Okay course
Greens don't seem to be grass, but a mixture of grass and mud. They are still puttable. Back nine is much more interesting and challenging. Some very good views from atop some tee boxes. Had a fivesome two groups ahead of me, so pace was a little slow. The uphill holes can be challenging (which is good). No cart girl. Practice bunkers were nothing like the real ones. Putting green is exactly like the real ones. Good elevation change on numerous holes.

Challenging course due to trees on every fairway. Most of the holes are short, so play from the blue tees to make it more of a challenge. Greens are not very good. Expect lots of bumps and an erratic surface. The staff are very friendly (everyone I came in contact was very pleasant; I spoke with 5 different staff members)
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Sherwood Forest Golf Club!

Upon arriving I was immediately met with a cart in the parking lot. This is a really neat course. Layed out very well with blind shots on a couple of holes. The views are fantastic, so I found myself just looking out to the expansive desert and admiring the beauty. Most holes I found challenging, but fair. Most of the rough is very thick, so hit them straight. Lot of elevation change from the tee boxes.
Royal Links Golf Club

This is a must when in Vegas. They treat you very well from beginning to end. Free range balls! Bottles of water in your cart cooler with ice! This is a links course so you'd better be able to hit it fairly straight or you will pay the price (lost 3 balls, but found 8!). Greens will test your putting ability with speed and curves. I love the placards at each tee giving you some historical golf trivia. Bunkers are REAL bunkers with REAL sand (or at least the ones I was in). I will return soon.
Thank you for visiting us at Royal Links Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.

Some holes are challenging with strategic placed bunkers. Greens were slow, but they are not flat so you'll be tested. I think the greens had been worked on earlier (months ago) and have not fully recovered; that being said, you will still appreciate the challenge of them.
Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club

This is a links course...I don't remember seeing any shade except in the cart. Very challenging that requires shot accuracy. Tees are set so that there can be a large difference in length for everybody's skill level. Stay out of the rough or you may lose your ball. Most local golfers that I know love this course!
uFQKC2642FQ, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club.

This course is an outstanding value! Some elevated tees gives you a good challenge. Shade and water is abundant. I wish they had a food/drink cart on the course.
Great Eagle Golf Club
Played On 01/16/2016Not worth the price
Greens are terrible. Ball jumping , turning hard right or left due to the greens not being smooth at all. Something needs to be done about the greens. Fairways have a lot of hard packed dirt on both sides. Count on incorporating a lot of roll into your shots. Most of the water has dried up. Traps are dirt, not sand .

Best course in the area. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Greens were immaculate and fast. Water everywhere, but still manageable.
Vistal Golf Club
Played On 09/14/2014Hit them straight or you'll lose them!
I like this course overall, but if you can't hit them straight then save your money. The rough is next to impossible to get out of if you are lucky enough to find your ball. The sand traps are not sand, dirt to be precise. Views of downtown are great.
Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
Played On 04/27/2014Can be fun!
This course is fun to play and with a challenge on the greens. The course plays real slow. The putting green isn't up to par. Practice range is decent. Sand practive area is fair. Speed of staff was very good.
Some of the greens are in need of attention. If you play there then I'm sure you know which ones. Some of the tee boxes could also use some repair time. Your signature hole waterfall probably hasn't seen consistent water in a while (repair that as well). Trim some of the overhanging branches that impede some tee boxes. A golfer should be able to use the box without having to stand outside the markers so they avoid those branches.
