Played this course while passing through the area and am really glad we did. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff, pro shop was well appointed. The course was in really great shape, greens held well and were really fast. Course layout was great with unique holes and elevation changes. Beautiful setting with great views. Overall this was a really fun course to play and I highly recommend!

We just happened on this course on our way home from Myrtle Beach. It was kind of off the beaten path, but worth checking out. Very nice clubhouse and friendly guy checking us in. The front nine was unique with elevation changes, doglegs, and forced carries. Not very long, but tight in places and not much room for error. The entire course was in a beautiful mountain setting with the front being in the valley, and the back up on the top. Great views on the back and more forgiving. Overall the course was in good shape, greens had recently been reseeded, and fairways average. This course was a nice change from the mostly generic and overpriced tracks we played in Myrtle Beach!

The new owners of this former Elks Course have really made some nice improvements. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are all in excellent shape. Nice upgrades to the clubhouse and new carts.
The layout is interesting with the front nine being fairly open and forgiving. The back seems much more challenging and varied. The course has a neat setting out in the middle of farmlands with nice views and a river that runs along the back. Staff was friendly, overall definitely worth checking out!

The good, course was in excellent shape….very nice clubhouse/pro shop……great beverage cart and starters.
The bad, generic layout…….pace of play was slow…..indifferent clubhouse staff. Overall it was neat to play a true links style course, but if were to play this track again it would at a less busy time!

Driving from Utah to Indiana and was looking to over nite and maybe play 9 holes since we had our clubs with us Not much in the way of hotels around, but this course is truly a hidden gem! Staff were friendly, course was in excellent shape, it was like a golf oasis out in the middle of nowhere. We loved the layout….every hole was different. The course wasn’t over challenging, but you need to keep it in play, hit your approaches and make your putts. The locals play a little slow, but we’re very gracious in letting us play through. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.

The staff seemed a little indifferent, but the course was nice. Very challenging fairways and greens! Most of the holes were very unforgiving on tee shots and approaches. Just when you are in good position to score well, the greens are difficult to read as well! A difficult, but fun course to play for recreational golfers. I lost four balls and very seldom lose balls on my regular tracks. I look forward to playing this course again…….bring your A game!

Played this course while visiting family in the area. Really enjoyed the layout and the staff was really friendly. The course was in good shape with nicely mowed fairways and greens that rolled true (greens were pretty fast). Sun Hills was a nice track for the money, it is near a public landfill, so there were a few holes that were a little unpleasant when we were downwind. Overall we enjoyed our round and would play here again when in the area!

Played this course while traveling through the area. All I can say is this is a hidden gem! Friendly guy in the clubhouse (can’t remover his name, but he was ex military). Great layout, course was in excellent condition, and had the place practically to ourselves. The course is challenging, but not intimidating. Just wish I lived closer, definitely recommend this course.

The course was in surprisingly good shape. The layout was a little generic, but offered some interesting holes. Staff was friendly. One of the nicer city courses that I’ve played. They could use better signage to find the clubhouse!

Stayed in Limon, CO. on our way to Salt Lake. Stayed an extra day due to mudslides which enabled us to check out the local course.
It was a truly unique experience to play this hidden golf oasis out in the middle of the high plains! The course was in surprisingly good shape. The fairways were lush and the greens rolled nicely. Staff were friendly and the beer was cold. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Course was in great shape and the staff were friendly. The layout was unique with generic holes mixed with some challenging holes. The course is laid out in a park like setting with very little rough. Pace of play was great, nearly had the place to ourselves.
Overall a very relaxing nine hole course!

First time playing this course and our group really enjoyed it.
The course conditions were great, especially the greens, which rolled straight and true. The layout is challenging but fair and fun for the high and low handicappers. Pace of play was good and the staff were friendly.
Overall this is a beautiful, well kept course that all level of golfers will enjoy. Nice amenities and professional staff. I would definitely recommend Alsatian to friends.

Probably One of my favorite courses I’ve ever played! Course was in great shape, fairways lush, tee boxes full, and greens were slick and fast but held well. The layout is challenging and really not a boring hole anywhere. You have to hit your spots and take what the course gives you, Several woods and long irons off the tee were required. Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. You may want to work on approach shots above and below your feet before playing this course!

This course plays fairly short, but is tough. It reminded me of a long par three course with water coming into play on almost every hole. Leave the power game at home, if your short and intermediate iron game isn’t on, it may be a long day! The course was in really good shape, greens were fast even though it was raining off and on. Staff was friendly........this was a tough little course.
