Having heard so much about Galgorm, I was looking forward to playing on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Have to say I was a bit disappointed with the layout and course in general. Can’t think of one undulation on the fairways - just flat and more flat holes. Balls were picking up an awful lot of mud - having played lough Erne the week before and didn’t get a mud ball once. It’s worth playing to make up your own mind, but personally for me, I found it un-interesting and monotonous - par 3’s weren’t great either.
We were also stuck behind an inter-club match which was dreadfully slow.
