bad location

My husband and I golfed this course this past Sunday for the first AND LAST time.

We drove there straight from the airport, following Google maps. The directions brought us through a sketchy/rundown neighborhood and it honestly didn't improve much from there.

The course is quite boring... as the holes go straight out from the clubhouse, then straight back. There's a city water drain system that run down the right side of every single hole (so if you hit right, you won't want this course either). The tee boxes were inconsistent....some torn up, some ok. The grass they use on this course is that spongy type of grass and not suitable for a golf course.

The scenery on the course was the worst we'd ever seen. Tent city in areas, slummy houses with garbage and trash in their backyards... just not what you expect from a golf course, but obviously this is either an old course of just something squeezed in.

We find it hard to believe that this course is getting 4 star ratings! I can only imagine someone did that because they golfed here for less than $20... because honestly, that's the most one should pay for this course.

Now we've golfed many many courses in Vegas and surrounding areas, and have NEVER had an experience like this. We golfed a different course two days late in Henderson and it was gorgeous... well groomed, scenery was lovely and worth the trip.

We'll never recommend this course, nor ever go back.

Beautiful Course!

To golf in 70 degree weather in SE Wisconsin in November is almost unheard of. We had the pleasure of golfing in this, and chose the Highlands at Lake Geneva and were very happy with our decision. The course was still in great shape. We had to work with the falling leaves, so finding balls was challenging on some holes, but the way the course was maintained all year still showed at this time of year. If you are in the area and get the chance, I would definitely recommend this course!
