$29 is a special at 3pm during the week according to the course. I'd say baed on how hard the greens were it should probably be a little less. Everyone was pretty friendly but $9 for a sandwich with stale bread and some chips at the turn probably prevents me from coming back. The weather has been pretty cool for this time of year so it's surprising how hard and dry the greens were. You'd like to think with pretty much no cart paths that the cost to maintain this course is pretty cheap and some more $ should be spent on keeping the greens in a lot better shape. I'd hate to see what the green will look like a month from now. At a similar price point Dobson Ranch is a lot better.

Course was pretty aversge. Cool area if you like 1700 ft above elevation mountain golf. Layout is what it is because of area it’s in, pretty stupid back to back par 5s though. Greens way too soft, tee boxes were pretty poor compared to the rest of the course. Pace of play was good for Saturday late morning.

Upon arrival I was greeted and guys outside at the pro-shop, range, and starter were all awesome guys. Front nine was challenging good mix of holes solid layout. Greens were extremely hard, i wouldn’t say firm because it was pretty much impossible to make a ball mark even with an 8 iron from 165 out. Given how challenging the areas around the green and bunkers are, it’s pretty unordinary how there’s no forgiveness because of how hard the greens are. This takes a little bit away from the course IMO since you can’t stop the ball or control spin at all, while even being penalized for hitting the center of the greens from 150 out.

Starter was friendly. 8:20AM Tee time. Grass driving range was in good shape. Course was in excellent condition well kept from tee to green. Greens were probably the best part of the course. Snack bar at the turn was good. Good deal for $50 on GN for an early Sunday round.

tee time was at 10:50 on a saturday morning and course was pretty busy upon arrival. Got a hot deal on golfnow.. usually $40 on the weekends. Nice pro shop with lots of options, wide grass driving range in good shape, big practice putting green next to first tee. Good mix of holes and great course conditions. Cart paths were pretty rough and bunkers were basically empty. Only reasonable complaint was we got stuck behind a group of 5 on the back 9 and it took about 2 hrs 45 mins to play. Front 9 pace of place was great. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape, tee boxes were good. Would definitely play again.

Booked an afternoon tee time. Big pro shop as expected being that its a resort course. Ranger was somewhat rude and blunt. Before the round we went to the range only to discover that we were only permitted to hit off the mats. pretty disappointing considering almost any other course in S.C this time of year has grass driving range open. Front 9 was pretty straight forward. Layout of course is pretty average except for 10 which goes straight at the ocean. Other than that most holes seem the same in terms of 170 yard par 3s from the middle tees and a few dog leg lefts and rights. Tees and fairways were excellent. greens were pretty slow and seemed inconsistent.

Greens were fast and rolled true, however the majority are too hard. It's not impossible to have fast greens that also hold shots. I get it the members want fast greens so they're mowed often, but some wedge shots didn't leave a ball mark or hold as much as they should've. Other than this, well kept course. Nice practice facility, solid tee boxes and fairways.

I was somewhat surprised to find that on a nice weekend morning the place was practically empty spin arriving. I guess I should have realized that it was not in top shape before even getting on the course. The tee boxes weren't great, the fairways weren't terrible, but the greens were awful. I heard numerous times that with the cold weather the greens aren't great but most other courses greens in the areas have perked up by now. Several tee boxes weren't mowed and that's just flat out lazy. If this wasn't a hot deal I would have been more dissapointed, but the course conditions were the worst out of any course in the area.

I had a 7 am tee time on a Sunday morning and when I showed up the place was empty and no one was there. I didn't end up getting off #1 until around 7:45. guy at the front desk was nice, and the practice was was in pretty good shape. There are many interesting holes, ex #2 100 par 3 from the blues, and generally speaking there are no two holes here that are the same. The front 9 was pretty well kept but the back 9 wasn't in nearly as good of shape. There's no reason that a tee box shouldn't be cut on a Sunday morning (par 3 #11). This place is either understaffed or just doesn't care, but it was pretty crowded when I left around noon. Some bunkers weren't raked and barely edged, and most bunkers had sand that was so hard they were unplayable. Pace of play was good, couple groups let us play through. Lots of cool holes, but could definitely be kept a lot better.

This course was in excellent condition as of most recently. Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. The only issue that I ran into was a few of the greens were really dry with some small bare sandy areas. This course is also very short, so I recommend playing from the tips.
