We love the layout of this course. The varying elevations are challenging but the views are fabulous. Greens really quick and quite hard so difficult to stop your ball on the green...need a light touch. We will definitely make the trip again. A must play for us.

Always a great place to practice your short game with just enough difficulty to make it interesting.
Great price for a nice par 36 course.

We love this course. Friendly staff and great layout make it a joy to play.
Fairways are in rough shape this year and is only negative against another nice round of golf.

A 4 3/4 hour round on a tough course. Greens extremely quick.
Raised greens protected with lots of bunkers.

First game of the season, so it was a good starter.
Greens are slow compared to most courses.
Presented some challenges, with some water holes.
Unfortunately, one group held up the entire course; we waited on every hole as did everyone else..

First time playing here and will return. Played the Legends course in 4 hours.
Teed off at 1:40 p.m. And finished at 5:40 p.m. With a steady group of golfers on the course.
White tees were a 6500 yds layout which made it challenging. Greens were very consistent.
Some holes are very scenic with the mountains as your backdrop.
Will be playing this course again and am looking forward to trying the desert course as well.

Pace of play could have been much improved if they Did Not allow fivesomes. Course is in decent shape however very hard ground with lots of extra roll on the ball. Waste bunkers were very hard on the faces of clubs and started moving my ball onto green area before destroying my clubs.
Best part of course is views of Superstition Mountain and the island green. friendly staff and golfers.
Will play again.

Nice course...lots of water. Rough should be cut as you can lose your ball 1 foot off fairway.

Beautiful layout and conditions. Extremely challenging greens with lots of undulations and very quick speed.

Only downside was that because the course is 500 ft. Higher elevation than New Braunfels the outdoor temperature was considerably cooler than what we had left earlier in the day.
Still worth the 45 minute drive.

Very nice, will be very pretty when the weather warms up and it gets a little water and sun. Lovely clubhouse. Staff all very courteous. The only difficulty we had was finding the course...no signage on Hwy 10 for the course, or on the road up once you find the turn in.

Course was nice...lots of sand traps! Plenty of water and lots of alligators.

Great rolling hills gives course nice character and scenic views. Challenging layout and tricky greens...slower than they look. Only 3 par threes...2 are quite long. Third time playing this course...does not get any easier. Will try again soon.

The course is pretty and in decent shape. Good price.
The cart paths are pretty rough and it is made worse by the filth on the windshield of the carts. U literally can not see thru them. Cleaning those should be a standard. Also the bill washers when u can find them have filthy dirty water in them and no cloths.

The course is relatively short and open. Good place for a new golfer. Greens are murder.
