I recommend the course based on the condition, lush course, greens in good shape but kind of a wonky layout.
You must get out Early ! We had a 1PM tee time- 5 hour round- 8 minute tee times. Followed a male 4some that hit two balls on every tee box for every player, they had no buisness playing from the tee box they played due to no drive went past 150 yards. Cart girl was friendly!

The staff are very friendly and fun !
Carts are in great shape and new !
Course rough was crabgrass, not my preference
Greens were in great shape but extremely slow.
Fairways were in good shape !
I found the layout boring, up and back nothing special and very flat.

Greens were in the worst condition of any course I have played in years. For 135$ a round I expect more. Yes they punch the greens about a week prior using quarter size punchholes ( crazy big ! ) sand covered but the worst part was the deep groves they rake across the greens made a horrible bumpy experience. Ruined the positives
I'm a local nevada resident- no discount and no discount for punched greens ( many course provide a break before and after airiation
Course brown in alot of places, needs more water. If you look at the rates 135$ is the least expensive.

Course was in really good shape, price the highest we paid on our trip. Ocean views nice, not busy. Don't understand why is so expensive when no one is on the course. GpS on cart, cart person had lots of food options and drinks best cart yet on a course ! Green were ok, fairways green not dried out like Waikola golf course

Loved the views, GPS cart, and beautiful manicured fairways! Best find in Kona ! Greens were not that quick but much better shape then other courses.
The food at the view restaurant was very good !

This is a retirement course that has lots of eldery patrons. Nothing difficult about this course except how slow folks play. The fairways are rock hard and the pace of play is to wait on every shot. The sand is an OK quality for Vegas.
Really large high end older houses are on the back 9 which tells me this was a high quality area at one time.
The starter is exceptionally nice and informative regarding the course. They take the water restrictions in vegas to the max here !
The hotdogs at the turn were good !

We didn't realize we had played this course 5 years ago until driving up ! It's in much better shape now ! Greens were excellent no ball marks ! All divots were filled in on fairways- there were 2 workers behind us fixing ball marks on greens and missed fairways divots- I have NEVER experienced this not even at extremely expensive courses !
Friendly staff- pace was 4:15 hours . Only knock the layout is wonky, and tight. Reminds me a bit of courses in western washington with trees lining the fairway on several holes.
The price was great Hot Deal at 9 AM booked the day before can't beat it in this area in winter paying $44.00 per person. Had to buy range balls, No big deal.

This is a real quality golf course but probably won't be back. Played in February and didn't not encounter the issue. My concern: women in what appeared to be a drink cart had a film crew with her and she was flipping her phone around we chatted- she asked what food we like, we said pizza, someone in NY group asked if she was a utuber she said yes. AT NO TIME DID SHE TELL ME YOU ARE BEING TAPED AND AUDIO RECORDED. I use to work in the tv/film/ photography industry and we always had signed releases for permission to video and record. This didn't happen and the club house when I complained (Taylor) told me she did tell me we are being audio and video taped. He wasn't there ! She at no time told me this and the follow up crew then indicated they heard everything I said and we were being taped - after the fact.
I told them I don't give them permission to use me in there video and then they want to take more pictures etc. He could have just erased the couple of minutes of tape but he wouldn't do that.
I find this unprofessional display of the crew and the response from the clubhouse unacceptable it ruined the day for me. Clubhouse trust your customers when they are upset and act appropriately!
The video crew was distracting and in poor taste- there are too many quality course to play without this nonsense.

Really amazed at how great the bunkers are at this course, REAL SAND , NO ROCKS like every high end course in nevada( I don't play private courses so they could have decent bunkers). Blew my mind that a course on the east side of vegas has greens in perfect condition - a little slow but the entire course is green, green ,green. The rough is exceptional high and there is lots of it- about 6-8 inches deep.
The course is built on both sides of a drainage so you feel like your on the side of a hill throughout the entire round
Boring layout and no shade. But great bunkers, green and price !
Excessive amount of watering of areas that really don't need to be green it was 2 in the afternoon 106 degrees what a waste of water. The workers on the the drain in between the course were wasting tons of water pushing debris into the drain. I believe the workers are city workers ??? Tired of hearing about how I need to conserve water at my house when I watch the city waste water for 3 straight hours in large quantities on this drain area.

Fantastic course, not very busy played as a 2, course in fantastic conditions, greens had recently sanded but still very true and faster than all the sumnerlin courses. It is heavily played by retires so that will affect pace of play. Not sure why ready golf and pulling the cart clise to your ball on the fairway is foreign to golfers in there 70s and 80s. One of the best condition course we have played in Vegas. It has a casino next door food at the Cafe don't recommend but the casino is nice
GPS won't get you to the course but the pro shop is super friendly and got us to the location while ge stayed on the phone- his choice

Love this course! Even though fairways were tilled and greens sandy punched. Greens rolled well even though recently punched. I have never seen fairways tilled instead of punched but new to Vegas golf. Probably my favorite course in summerlin. It plays fast, finished in 3 hours as a 2 some with the kindness of 4 young studs letting us play thru.

Got a really good price on golf now for a 1 pm tee time, unfortunately the 2 groups in front were slow backed up all day starting with the 4th hole . It was an exceptionally hot day but still finished in 4 hours
Course in really good condition except some very wet spots that were beat up by carts. Only complaint was rock hard bunkers with lots of rocks. It also looked like they filled in a few bunkers which to me took away from the hole since this course represents a hole at Jack's courses across the country. Course had the absolute best views of all the courses played so far and some extraordinary homes on one side of the course. Will be back staff great and a very pleasant experience even though I had trouble keeping it in the fairway, need to be straight when playing from forward tee.

I play mostly summerlin courses and this course is equal or not better than those. The bunkers actually have a mix of sand, not just rocks and hard dirt ; the fairways were green and in great condition and the greens are in great shape. It is a short course and flat, we played it in about 3.5 hours waited on the front some but the back moved pretty well.
The food was just ok in the bar. Had a club sandwich.

Not overly impressed with this course, played the Lexington. The layout and challenge was excellent, not a retirement course even though it backs up to sun city and it’s members are definitely senior. Bunkers are awful, nothing but hard dirt and rocks, the greens are bumpy and most had millions of ball marks not fixed. Complained about both, Seniors who play golf act entitled, they can’t seem to take the time to fix the ball marks and fill in divots on the fairways. Tourist are also careless, knowing this is a heavily played course Management needs to step up and hire maintenance crews to do what the players won’t do which is fix divots, ball marks And there job which is fix the bunkers. Bunkers will never get fixed because management does care, played with a member who started complaining 5 years ago and nothing has been done, the excuse is the wind will blow out sand, solution use a heavy mixture of dirt- without rocks plus sand- cheap and lazy. Was looking at this course as home course when we move but it doesn’t pass the quality test.

This is a excellent valued course in Las Vegas ! Greens were a bit mossy but rolled ok. Fabulous views, pace of play good. Easy course, not overly difficult but better than a ‘retirement community’ course as far as challenge. Surprisingly quiet for the location, will definitely play again.

Fun course with one of the best layouts next to Ko Olau, which shut down due to the pandemic . Played day after 3 strong rain days but course held up. Bunkers were round, and flooded but expected. Only negative its next to a army base and all day you hear rounds being fired and military jets overhead and planes from the airport-

Played a few times, course always in good shape. Greens were excellent, rolled true. A few dry spots on fairways but far better then other courses in SCW. Bunkers were horrible lots of rocks, dirt and hard- was warned before starting round, free drop was written on a placard.

Loved the elevation changes, the course was in good shape. Greens a bit slow-hadnt been cut recently. Love the neighborhood layout around the course some of best in AZ. Only complaint, the bunkers were terrible- very inconsistent in tecture- some hard, some with lots of small rocks-some had very shallow dirt mix sand.
AZ has the worst bunkers in the west.

The Tavern restaurant at the end of the round was awesome, great burgers with amazing secret sauce for frys.
The front nine layout was pretty good-not a difficult course, not built for 300yd drives-was pushed from behind-lots of blind shots on back nine and the back nine seems like it's in another part of the state-weird design. Tons of construction around the course which is slated to be done in 5 years. Lots of golfers on course with errant shots found 15 brand new golf balls-young men that are wild on every shot seen everywhere. Surprising number of guys in there 20s and 30s on a Friday playing golf

Greens had been punched a few weeks ago still a little slow but rolled true and feel they were in really good condition. The course had some extremely dry tee boxes and patches on fairways, they were watering some during play not at all a problem. I love Camelback golf courses overall, can’t beat the peace and tranquillity of the courses. Bunkers had lots of rocks in them and hard dirt - the worst part of the course. Beautiful area by far the most relaxing round this summer, tee off at 11:50, was paired with another 2 but they let us split up due to not allot of people on course. Round took 3 hours. Staff was friendly and they all thanked us for coming out every time they saw us ! Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday for summer so asked for a recommendation for a drink and a bit to eat with a patio, one of the attendants recommend ‘ Ohso’ Fabulous outdoor patio with really good food !. We will be back soon to play Padre the other course.
