Actually, this was the second time my wife and I golfed here, but the first time was 4 years ago since we come from Michigan and the pandemic interfered.with an earlier return. This time, however, we brought my Brother and Sister-in-Law, and they enjoyed it a lot. The kitchen wasn't up for making dinner, we were told, but they were kind to suggest a great place to go for dinner, which was The Tin Fin, and on Tuesday night they had all the crab or shrimp you could eat, and my Wife was ravanous, which she often is after 18 holes. We ate well, and next year, we want to do so again, both golf and TinFin!

My wife and I paid more to golf at a disappointing course in Orlando earlier this week... one to which my wife says she will NOT return. We would come back to Willowbrook with decent expectations for pleasant golfing. The course pace was slow due to lots of golfers moving at a slow pace before us... but the pleasant day made that tolerable.

Although the day was hot and muggy, we were glad to get out and would recommend Wallinwood to others. The front 7 were relatively easy, straight forward and encouraging, but the back 11 were filled with very challenging water and woods hazards and a couple that were the result of course pitfalls like a green that was brown dirt and a couple holes where the water covered too much of the fairway and a couple where the geese left so many rectal emissions that it was nearly impossible to keep your balls from getting terdy! We were glad to be done, and yet strangely eager to play there again... and we will! Quite honestly,, some of the back holes were too much for my meager talents to handle.
