Not nearly as friendly this time out. Tees and fairways are very dry and sandy due to lack of water...kind of understandable since area is in a significant drought condition. This made for some unpredictable lies and rollouts. Some big sandy patches on the greens too. Hopefully course super is saving up some money from greens fees for real grass seed once they get some water. Challenging layout when conditions are better so it is likely I will be back.

First time visiting this club and I was a little nervous from reading recent reviews. Well...not all that bad. Yes some tee boxes were a little sandy and fairways under defined, but overall very playable! Green conditions not nearly as bad as reviews would make you think...true speeds throughout my round. Some scars from pesky Florida insects, but getting better. Single rounded the Grand and Royal 9s in under 3 hours. Clubhouse staff made,sure no one jumped in so i aporeciated their efforts.

My go to course when down in Toms River spending some shore time. First rate facility for sure from start to finish. Friendly staff always have a warm greeting outside in the drop area and inside the pro shop. All three 9s are a good test for any golfer. Well maintained from tee to green with trouble lurking for wayward shots. Two thumbs up!

Not the longest course, but very demanding Florida target golf. Local knowledge is a plus here as there is no GPS. Great fairways and greens were above average despite recent aeration (some tiny dimples remain that did not impact play). Plenty of water and sand to make it interesting. Errant shots will definitely bring some trouble. I will be back.

Better conditioned than my last visit...especially the greens. Tee boxes are getting better too. Definite two thumbs up for the efforts. Big bummer this visit was golf outing shotgun start at 9 AM to disrupt my round. When I finished and mentioned that is was slow the last few holes to the staff, it was as if they forgot all about the rest of us playing through the wave...until I remineded them.

Never disappointed with this place and more than a fair test of anyone's game. A must play for me when we make our annual visit. Fairways and greens in very good condition for this time if year. A couple of the tee boxes need some grass, but could be from shaded locations. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Yes it is a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

Quite a nice track...especially the greens....hard firm and fast, but fair throught the round. Fairways and tee boxes are well kept. Overall the course was very playable. Staff was friendly. I will certainly be back.

Nice layout with quick greens and some tight driving holes. No GPS so you need to do it the old fashioned way. First out with two semi-regulars and finished in 3 hours and change. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly. Not sure about all the "bad vibes" from other reviews. Yes a little rough around the edges, but excellent value! Nice wildlife to enjoy as well. I will definitely visit again when in the area.

Nice links layout with a classic feel, but beware of the lush rough and wispy grass mounds all over this layout. The greens were receptive of well struck shots and rolling consistently. This course could really be a battle if the wind is up. I was lucky as it was just breezy enough to keep the heat down and make it tough flying for the 'skeeters and green heads. Some folks have complained about the "backyard feel" of this layout, but to me it was no worse than tracks in most of Florida so this was not a big deal. The only thing was those pesky 'skeeters and with the proximity to the tidal areas, these little guys really can't be avoided (and are not a deterrent for my return).

Golf the good old way...a yardage book. Nice layout for sure that needs some TLC. Greens in very good shape and putted true for the entire loop but, a little rough around the edges. Traps and cartpaths needs some work (and the club will be addressing). Good challenge and I will be back.

Great course and in equal playing condition. The greens were rolling fast and true...thankfully...so I could get more comfortable as the round progressed. Challenging layout that was a good test. The staff is friendly and organized. Play here and you won't be disappointed.

Nice course and layout with lots of trouble lurking just about everywhere. This is a firm test of anyone's game.
You need to know your personal yardage book well to score here. A lot of wildlife to catch you eye too. Friendly and helpful staff...a welcome site.

One of my must plays when I visit southern Florida each year. Course conditions continually improving...especially the greens...rolling true and consistent this time. Tough play when the wind is up.

Nice layout with plenty of doglegs for the challenge. Fairways and greens in good shape; tee boxes needed some work. Staff very nice and patient despite a very busy Saturday morning. No GPS on carts, but not much of a problem since I was grouped with a local threesome. Nice round for sure and I will pay another visit.

A must play if you are nearby. Hidden in a local residential area, once you pass through the gate you forget where you are. Course condition is excellent for most part (a few patches on the greens that are under remediation according to staff). Full service facility with sll you expect. Well worth the price of admission and has become one of my stops anytime I'm in the area.

Jacaranda layout always provide very good playing conditions. I was first out as a single and enjoyed a 3 hour round. Sporty layout on the west side that plays to risk - reward shot execution. Play Jacaranda and you will be hooked.

Nice course with a lot of wildlife activity. The greens need some work with sandy and low growth areas on numerous holes. Too many golfers on the course at one time for my taste. I was paired with two members and another single and we had a great time. No need to start on the 10th at 730 AM. OK value for the money.

Beautiful area with lots of wildlife doing their thing - gators in the gallery, pelicans and osprey feeding in the water, and other waterfowl grazingy. The poor conditions on the greens were a contributing factor to this rating. Many had sandy patches that made for difficult pin placements and were part of play on most holes. The other annoying thing was too many golfers on the course. We teed off before 9AM and we started on the 10th hole...am I missing something here after all it was Wednesday morning. My playing partners made the round most enjoyable as I booked as a single. For the money, I expected better...but understandable for the traffic on the course.

Well worth the trip! Played Ibis and Egret 9s with three members and had a great time. Challenging layout yet very fair. Course in great playing shape with the exception of a few brown patches of green on Egret 9 that really didn't impact play. No on course beverage service, however water and ice in sll the right places. Staff members were all friendly helpful. Two thumbs up...I will be back!

always a good day to play golf at jacaranda. if you like to get out early, be diligent in getting a tee time, especially on weekends. very good challenge for any golfer...watch those false fronts and bunkers...breezy days too!
