Traveled over one hour for a golf now hot deal. The golf now site had no mention that the greens and fairways were aerated.Stay away for now!

Good course but right now greens and fairways are aerated with no mention. Why they don’t posted it or tell you ahead of time just doesn’t make sense!

Played this course years ago when you had to play with a veteran. The course back then was in good shape and the military housing was in good shape. The military housing and the golf course or a mirror image of each other. The golf course is in horrible condition the military housing is even worse. I should’ve read the review from 11/09/2018. The review was correct the course is under maintenance but there are also two holes closed and two temporary greens and there is no mention of this anywhere before you play . The course on the day I played was very wet cartpath only so walking is an alternative. But before you do it be prepared for the amount of goose droppings all over the course! This had to be the worst condition course I’ve ever played and paid for !!!! If it was free I would stay away .

On November 2 took advantage of a hot deal haha. Arrived at the course checked in went to the starter only to find out that I was to follow an outing of approximately 60 +players. Since they were on the front nine I asked the starter can I start on the back nine absolutely no. When I was on the first tee the outing was still on the first green. So I played the first hole that’s when I found out that the greens were aerated no mention at all . You get the picture. On the second hole I was able to meet the Ranger/worker whose name is Jim. Jim immediately saw what was going on and was able to go check the course and find an opening (14th hole)what a great guy . Harbor Pines should be very happy that they have a worker as dedicated as Jim!!!!!

On a recent vacation to Florida played with a few guys at Chandler hills in Ocala. They recommend Brooksville country club. What a mistake that was .The course is not in good condition. Greens and fairways are in bad shape. I played six times for the week and Brooksville was by far the worst. The afternoon price of $32 is not worth it. Much better deals in the area. Also made a 230 tee time and was told after I paid that the carts have to be in by 530 and around 5 o’clock the cart guy comes out looking for you to make sure you’re in. By the way you can play till about 6:15 ,6:30.

What a waste of money $100.00 for two.Horrible greens aeration.Some greens look like they were lost(should have been temporary).Tees bad crabgrass all over,over watering balls plugged.No mention back nine closed till you get there.The one positive bag/cart guy good guy.
