The greens are in terrible condition, tee boxes not much better. No food, thank goodness they have beer. I have been playing there since it went public and it is sad to see it in this condition. Come on Great Life.

I recommend this course a lot, I play it every year. Before you play either course you have to realize that this is a large resort course. Parking is at a premium with a long walk with lots of stairs. Pace of play has always been in the 4 1/2 to 5 hour range. The starter seems to be all about him and not about the course, I do not need to know when he retired, from where he retired and what his goals are. If you know what you are getting into the course is always in great condition with beautiful flowers and a top notch layout.

This was my first time playing here and it was very nice. Course in great condition, pace a play was good and the food was very tasty (breakfast Burrito). The course is tight and short for these days standards but for me it was plenty long. Folks were friendly and accommodating.

After playing some of the more challenging courses in the valley it was great to play a more forgiving layout. Great condition, great food, great value and great experience.

Very difficult layout but a lot of fun. Great condition. Make sure you know where you are going when you park the car, tip take shuttle cart.

This RTJ design is great. No 2 holes are even close to the same. This course can challenge golfers of all handicaps. Condition was good even though it was recently punched. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We played in 3 1/2 hours which is a miracle for our group.

This is one of my favorite tracks at the lake. But this time the greens were shot. They informed us that the greens had recently been punched but I can live with that. They were loosing many of the greens. You could see where that were trying to sod a couple of them but they needed to start from scratch at least 5 of them. A shame because this is a terrific place to play.

I have played here multiple times over the years and it is a treat every time. I have been fortunate to be able to play a lot of top courses in the country and this is still a must play when in the Ozarks. The creativity of the holes are great. The people are very nice and helpful.

The fairways have gone dormant but still play great. The greens still rolling very nice. The amount of unique holes is great. Paid $35.00 worth every penny.

We played in almost ideal weather conditions just a little wind. The greens came back good from being punched a touch sandy be rolled good. Fairways were in good condition just a few ground under repair spots. We had to wait on most holes but once we teed off it went well. Longview has not ever been known for speed golf. Paired up with a nice father and son duo.

It is nice to go back in time and playa traditional Midwest course. Lots of trees and sloping fairways. The GPS is great. They have done a lot of great work on this course. I would say a must play in the area. I wish it would quit raining.

A very nice round. Course has come out of winter great. We played on a Saturday in prime time and played in 4 hours and 15 minutes. If anyone in the KC area has not played this course they must put it on the list.

One of my favorite tracks in KC. The course needs some work. Some bunkers need to be rebuilt, green have some problems expecially 1 and 2. Not sure what they are doing with the area between the club house and the course where they have cut down all the trees. Course still plays fine just needs a little TLC. Course needs GPS and I think they are getting it but without the course is not marked very well.

The course was in good condition coming out of winter. Cart Path only. 4 hour round. Some holes the pin was still frozen in the hole. Looks like Shoal will have a good season.

12:37 tee time but there were no carts. Did not get off till 1:25 but since no one was going off we finished in 4 hours. Course was in nice condition and played friendly. No bev cart is surprising. The staff was ok including the starter who had to put up with all the people waiting for carts.

I can't imagine forward tees of 5846 yards. The only way they made the course challenging was with length. The last 4 holes from the whites are 208, 407, 427 and 440. Par 3 and the rest are par 4's. The course was in really good condition and the food was very good. The staff did real good with a very large crowd. Played in 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Allowing free drops out of the washes is wonderful. Lots of fun holes. Played in 4 hours in mid morning. No flaws on the course tees, fairways, greens. Dead bird on the 17th green needed to be moved which I am sure it was.

Very interesting track. The elevated tee boxes make it unique to the valley. Conditions were great, breakfast was spot on. The one down fall was there is way to many ball eating bushes. I would thin them out or take them out all together as the did at the Stadium Course.

The course was in good condition and it is a fun trac. I have played here many times and would come back but don't plan on getting any food. The temp club house is not set up for food and there is no beverage cart. Maybe one day they may rebuild the club house.
