This course is a favorite- nothing dance - good golf and pace - excellent value. Greens are true and good - like many just couldn’t keep up with the intense heat this year.

I really liked the challenge and layout of this course- was in very good condition. Greens great. Bunkers could be brutal- thankfully I only landed in one. It was my first time here and thought the signage for the holes could be better. I was quite surprised and disappointed that there were no rest rooms or porta johns ANYWHERE on the course - it least have one for front 9 and back 9. otherwise strongly recommend.

Was really looking forward to playing, drove 3 hours. The holes are very far apart as you drive through construction sites where they are apparently building many more homes. Most of the greens were ok however the green at the 6th hole was COVERED with leaves - horrible. they should have had someone out there blowing.

This is a really beautiful course with appropriate level of challenge with water and bunkers. Course was in excellent shape - only expected the greens to be a bit faster. We played the first 9 holes and at the turn the ranger proactively said things were a little backed up. He suggested we skip to the 12th hole and finish 10 and 11 at the end. It was drizzling so we took him up on his offer so we could keep moving and he proceeded to escort us out to 12. Worked out great. Saw Ranger few more times monitoring pace of play. Would def play this course again - really great!

I live in Monmouth County and this course is touted as the crown jewel - so I couldn't wait to play. It was very pretty but not as pretty as I expected. The greens were very slow - as echoed by the other 3 in my foursome. disappointing. And not ONE single porta potty or bathroom on the course besides at the turn. When I inquired - the staff said 3 other people asked same thing that day. This IS 2017. I live closer to Howell so I will enjoy playing there.

Acknowledging spring has just started - still disappointed in the conditions - especially the greens. Geese and what they leave behind are too present throughout the fairways. Not sure when the greens were last rolled but they were rough - pebbles and bumps on all. yards of properties adjacent to the course looked like tha of Sanford and Son - debris thrown all around. Thankfully we didn't pay much or would have been even more disappointed. If some nice spring weather shows up - they won't have enough time to get course in the condition it should be. Have enjoyed this course in the past.
