Southport Springs Golf & Country Club

Booked this course on GolfNow as a Hot Deal. This little gem demands accurate shots. Most of the fairways are tight but playable. The tavern was not open either time we played this week. Pretty sure it's due to the Covid keeping the snowbird residents away.
Scotland Yards Golf Club

The greens were in fairly good condition but not consistent. Some of the greens had been mowed but not all. The fairways were not defined and had very little turf.

We found the greens to be some of the best in the area. The speed of the greens were consistent. The rough was dormant but the fairways were very well maintained.

The course was generally in good condition. There is some wild type grass growing in some of the greens. The sand traps could use conditioning but overall, not terrible. Pretty great pace of play in late October.
Quail Hollow Golf Course

I have played this course off and on for many years. It seeks like it gets better every time. We found the greens to be faster than most but roll very true. If you like sand traps, this course is for you. Almost every trap has very nice soft sand.
Pebble Creek Golf Club

The greens are thin in a few areas but coming out of the rainy season may be the culprit. I hope to play this course more often this fall/winter season. I know it will improve.
Silverado Golf & Country Club

Areas of the course have recently been over seeded and the grass is rapidly growing. The areas are well marked so as to keep the motorized golf carts off the new grass. The greens were inconsistent this day but they normally are medium to semi-fast. I recommend this facility and don't forget the 19th hole for your favorite beverage.

I have played The Links of Lake Bernadette quite a few times in the past. The greens are improved from previous years. They were in the process of overseeing the day we played so I would expect them to improve even more. The clubhouse staff was very accommodating and cheerful. This will be on our 'play again' list; often.
Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club

This course appears to be properly set up for the USGA/PGA "Tee It Forward" initiative. The greens are true and roll faster than most. We had a very enjoyable round. Plenty of wildlife!
