Tough on the high handicapper

It's only my second time playing here. It's a nice but challenging layout. I was kind of surprised at the conditioning for this low-priced county-owned course. Usually I expect everything to be browned-out and ragged this late in November. Greens were fast and frankly difficult to read. Tee boxes at a muni are usually rock-hard, at LFC they were pretty well built. There are lots of blind uphill shots and doglegs - not so many forced carries. Some of the fairways are really tight. Overall it's more challenging than I expected. I'd recommend LFC over the nearby semi-private club.
