Nobody is ever going to pay $50 to play 9 holes at this practice course. If you want golfers to show interest adjust the price

Considered the lack of rain in the area the course was in fantastic shape

As golfers we know how important the greens are and Turkey Creek greens are immaculate.

This is by far the best public course in NWI and believe me I’ve played them ALL. The greens were in immaculate condition and rolling perfectly. We did receive some rain over the past 2 days so don’t get much roll in the fairways. My only complaint would be the bunkers which were packed down to due the rain but they can’t control that. Very friendly staff and beautiful scenery throughout the 36 holes. This course is a Must Play

Played april 23 and as you know there is some water in spots on the course but not in the fairways. The greens maintained nice over the winter and look great. The putts are rolling slower than normal because the greens are wet but the ball checks up really good also. The 12th hole is forever closed because Cook County won’t fix the bridge so the 14th par 3 is there to stay. I will say the 14th hole looks good and is an actual green (if you played in the past you know what I mean lol). Can’t wait to come back when the course dries out over the next month. I shot an 80 w/1 birdie and 2 double bogeys

Had a great time with the guys golfing at Deer Creek. The greens were receptive to good shots and had a consistent roll throughout the 18 holes. Fairways were just firm enough to where you got a nice amount of roll. My only complaint would be the pin placements. Golf courses need to realize it’s the Birdies and Pars that make golfer come back and play your course again. It was at least 7 pins that were put right on a slope and near the edge. GOLFERS DONT PAY MONEY TO BE EMBARRASSED BECAUSE THE GUY PLACING THE PINS DECIDES TO BE A JERK. Other than that awesome course and a good time.

Windy day out but the course was playing great. The greens were rolling true and receptive. The sand was light and not hard pan. The fairways were rolling rolling rolling. The course looks great for it to only be April.

Don’t know why tee times are being sold if the course is closed. I don’t see tee times Available for other golf courses that are closed. The driving range is Also closed until June. Try out Centennial, Sherwood, Palmira or Turkey Creek.

Awesome course to play. Plenty of elevation change and dog legs. It’s March so of course the course is soft and the greens aren’t able to be rolled but if your a true golfer and understand this...the course is open and the best one available to play. $5 to win $10k for the hole in one and $10 to win $20k and only 154 yards.

I played here yesterday and I must say the course is in AWESOME condition. This was the 1st course I ever played when I started golfing years ago and I was anxious to return after not playing it for about 4 years. The greens were as good as you can get them, the fairways were rolling and I played 18 holes in 2hrs and 30 minutes. Glad to say I shot 13 straight pars to start my round before a stupid double bogey, bogey, birdie, par and 3 putt bogey. 74 coulda easily been under par but due to the rain the green were just a tad slower than expected on some putts. After the round I went in and got some food and tried the Blue Island beer (very delicious). Overall a great time and I will definitely be back.

I love this course. I travel from indiana to play it a few times a month with a good friend of mine. Love the fact they give you a free bucket of balls to warm up with on the range. Also, they have a nice putting green and short game area. It had rained the previous days so the course was wet but still in pretty good shape considering. Greens on the front were rolling slower than the back 9 but the greens were very nice and rolling true. Only complaint was the pin locations lol. The season is just starting and I feel as if every hole shouldn't be on a breaking down slope. Let the guys come out and make some birdies to get the confidence up. However I did birdie the $10,000 par 3 15th so the superintendent isn't all that bad lol.

Played on a windy but warm day and the course was playing good. Not much roll if any due to soft fairways. Greens look really good and were soft. Putts rolling smooth. No debris in the fairway or greens and pace of play was good for it to be a busy day.

Golf course was in awesome condition for a round in March. Fairways rolling and the greens were a nice challenge. $10 for a round and it was the best course in northwest indiana right now and I've played a few already. Will definitely be back
