Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort
Played On 07/15/2023A Good Old Fashioned Wisconsin Resort Course
This course is always fun to play because it's in good shape, it's relaxed like the good old resort courses always were, it has beautiful holes - wooded with lake views, and very nice changes in elevation to make it even more interesting and fun. Why pay $150 when you can play here for a reasonable fee? You will enjoy it, and you can have dinner at the resort afterwards.

Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort
Played On 07/15/2023Nice course, good value, not too demanding
My wife and I played with our friends (another couple). We very much enjoyed playing Majestic Oaks. Some nice views of Lake Delavan during the round. The course is spread across rolling terrain, so I would not call it super easy, but it is from an age when golf was truly a leisurely activity; too many other courses these days are built to first be a challenge, not fun. Thus, this course is great for beginners and intermediate golfers. We had a great time.
Oak Grove Golf Course
Played On 08/22/2017Challenging yet usually fun - 4 holes will take you from an 88 to 93 real fast
Have played this course many times. The course is beautiful. There are 4 holes in particular that are vexing. 10 seems to have a really small landing area for the 1st shot of a par 4. Hard to judge the needed distance without going too long. 11 is an S-shaped par 5 that should be the picture next to the definition of "target golf" in the dictionary, and is too gimmicky (in my opinion) but a necessary evil for playing 14 really nice golf holes. 15 is really really narrow and requires more precision than your typical golfer can muster. From the whites, 16 leaves too much of the fairway obscured and thus too much uncertainty on where to aim. The other 14 holes are great and make up for these 4, so go play it anyway!
North/Middle at Delbrook Golf Club
Played On 08/05/2017Fun, affordable course
We had a pleasant time. Played the Middle and the North nines, Saturday afternon. Paid $25 which included a cart. The course is not super challenging, but has sand traps and a few water hazards to keep you entertained. Staff was very friendly, and their restaurant appeared to be popular with non-golfers, although we did not eat there this time. Great value and we will be back for golf and to try the food!
