Grand Traverse Resort & Spa - The Wolverine Course
Played On 06/29/2023A Bit Long in the Tooth.
The greens and fairways were fine. The green surrounds were a bit sketchy due to lack of maintenance/budgetary priorities. The cart paths were also st the end of their useful life. I played with my wife and another couple and everyone enjoyed the layout. Having played it before, I was able to give some insight on the trickier dogleg holes on the back (13, 15, 16 and 17). I have to say, I am always a bit perturbed at having to shell out $7.00 for a bag of balls after paying $100+ for a round. Having said all that it is a good value as a Hot Deal or even a discounted rate. I would expect more however paying full boat.
Hilton Head National Golf Club
Played On 04/06/2018A Great Value Proposition.
Really enjoyed everything about the course, from being greeted promptly and cheerfully by the bag attendant, pace of greens, and solid course layout. Firm conditions allow you to step. Ack a set of tees if you want to challenge get yourself a bit more. Tips are only 6700, so not to long. Anywhere between 20-40% less than courses on Hilton Head proper.
Panther Run Golf Club
Played On 03/23/2018Well Worth It!
Certainly a venture off I-75, but as previous people have said, it was a perfect warm-up course for the northern golfer just arriving in SW FL. If you want to challenge yourself move back a set of tee's.
