I’ve played both the Legends and the Resort courses at Taquitz over the past several years. The Legends is in outstanding shape this year. Hats off to the maintenance and grounds crew. The sand traps are full and well groomed. The staff have always been very helpful and courteous.
We had a 11:07 tee time on March 7, 2020. It was very busy and we teed off about 20 minutes late but it was a Sunday and the course was busy. We still finished in slightly more than 4.5 hours.
Overall both courses are challenging but not too hard for the average golfer.

The course is in excellent shape and with there being two courses at Tahquitz you have two excellent choices. In my opinion the Resort Course is more challenging and scenic than the Legends Course. There is water on many holes (hazard) which makes the Resort Course very scenic (and challenging).
The greens are in excellent shape and play very fair.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I haven’t had anything but a fun and enjoyable day while golfing at Tahquitz Creek Gold and Resort.
