Excellent day of golf. I was aware they had recently aerated the greens but they actually putted very true despite the sand and all. Greens keepers are doing a fantastic job.
Tree trimming going on all over the course along with general maintenance just making the golf experience even better. Can’t wait to return and play again.

Pleasantly surprised that the course was dry and there were no restrictions for the golf carts. We were able to complete our round in under three hours even with us playing Army golf. (left right, left right)
This is my favorite Gainesville semi-private course to play!
Ironwood Golf Course

Course was a in good condition. They had just top-dressed the greens though that didn’t effect my putting... I need a little instruction there. Looking forward to COVID-19 being over and being able to utilize the clubhouse for sandwiches and such.
The ninth hole has a hawk that apparently owns the fairway.

From the time we arrived the entire group was treated with respect. The golf shop staff were well-informed about the course and the history of the area when asked. They started with details dating back to 1910!
What a great family owned and operated golf resort. I hope to bring my family back for a weekend of rest, relaxation and pampering.

For a resort golf course this was by far one of the best I have played. Staff was fantastic. From the bag drop to the tee each of the team members explained what would happen. The valet told me to not worry about anything..."we'll get your clubs to the tee, you just focus on birdies today"! Staff members knowledge and desire to provide excellent customer service was outstanding!
