Guildford Golf and Country Club
Played On 05/17/2018afternoon delight
The course is in as good a condition as it has been in the pst 40 years. The greens are smooth and well kept and the fairways are evenly mowed. the course is undulating and good exercise, cart or not. The mid afternoon tee time left lots of daylight to the finish and there were no delays in play or pressure from behind.
Tobiano Golf Course
Played On 09/12/2017Glad we played two rounds
The first round was a little frustrating with blind shots, sloping fairways and a GPS cart that did more than give layout and constant yardage; it kept you in line but provided a cooler and ball and club cleaner as well. The cart is included and we saw no one walking.
The second day with some familiarity was great. The lake views throughout the round are beautiful and the condition of the on the fairways is better than most courses keep their greens. The greens were very challenging but the surfaces were impeccable. There are 4 shots across canyons for a challenge.
Greenacres Golf Course
Played On 05/08/2015Great Local Play
We were early and the tee time in front was open so the pro moved us up and later we joined the couple behind for an enjoyable round. The greens are nicely kept, the fairways were very good with side trees trimmed up for easy ball finding. The water can catch you but the second time out should help on that and we have booked again. It is very convenient and although traffic noise from 91 is noticeable it is well tree screened.
Mylora Golf Course

Play was very slow so we will know to take a later booking if playing on a weekend again.
Loomis Trail Golf Club
Played On 10/04/2014One of the good ones
This course has lots of hazards but they are not placed to punish good golf. A second time around and you won't be surprised by the ample water and sand traps which are not always visible. With a good starter, the entire round went well. Golf and room packages are available here and the location is great for Canadian golfer wanting to try a new course.
Homestead Farms Golf Club
Played On 09/20/2014Somewhat frustrating
The course needs a starter and a marshall. The following 2 teed off before we had hit our second shots. We let them play through and they were then delayed by a slow 4 some for the rest of the front 9 which included others in the carts off looking for balls.
The 2 some we let play through then quit at nine leaving us behind this 4 and without invitation we eventually skipped a hole and passed them.
As a topper a single behind us came up and complained about our slow play while we stood waiting for the 2 some to hit their second shots.
The frustration was unnecessary but they may have been short staffed for the day.
It is a nice course.
I hear you, a friend and myself came from Port Angeles for a week and we found the same situation almost evey day. Slow play. A starter and a marshall would be a good addition. A great golf course though.
Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/13/2014Semiahmoo Serene
For a late summer day our tee time had only 3 pairs following and we caught up to no one so it was like we had the course to ourselves.
This is one of the best course designed around a real estate development with houses set back off the ample fairways so even poor drives were on the fairways. The scenery and settings throughout the entire course were beautiful. The greens even though freshly aerated were smooth and fast. The frequent sand traps were well maintained and forgiving once encountered.
Thanks for your overall positive review! We are sorry the pace of play was a little slow when you came out, but appreciate your understanding. We look forward to seeing you back!
