If you want to experience golf the way it was then this is a hidden gem. Forget the bomb and gouge, this course requires you to plan out an approach and flight to the flag. The green complexes are very Pinehurst like and roll fast and true. Take your time, breath and enjoy a walk in the park.

Course was I n great shape, greens rolling smooth and good pace. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Would play it everyday.

Hi there, I was in town visiting family and had time for a round of golf. It has been about 6 years since I last played at Prairie Landing and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. The course was in outstanding condition. Greens were very true and a good pace. The whole place is well maintained. I was a single and the Pro Shop took the time to get me paired up with a threesome of great guys. We had a wonderful day. We played the Gold tees and found them plenty challenging. The elevation changes are subtle at times but the contours of the fairways are such that you will have many shots from various degrees of side hill or uphill lies, so take a few minutes during your warmup to hit those types of shots at the range. Your buddies may laugh but I assure you that will help on the course. All in all this is a fantastic course and facility.
