Course is good but retains water.
I've played here before. Its a nice walking course (a few small hills). Problem today was the week of rain we had before. One day is not enough to dry out. A lot of mud and casual water. Not the courses fault but always wait a couple of days after a good soaking.

When riding the number of walkers can slow you down. Not a real issue if you walk (which you can easily do).

AMGC
Fairly wide open course and no bunkers so very friendly for avg golfers. Watch wild shots from others. Play 17 as a par 6 with the far back tees. If using front tees only hit drive about 175 yards or or you will out drive the fairway. Scorecards yardage make the course seem longer than it plays. On avg each par 4/5 hole is 50 yards shorter.
