Course was in great shape including the US Open rough!. If you missed the fairway forget it! Due to the rough the round was 5 hours, but kinda expected. No doubt they will be lowering the rough to a more manageable level shortly.

Course conditions continue to deteriorate. The fairways have little grass and the bunkers have little sand. The greens are excellent, but hard to recommend given the current condition.

Took the $11 walking rate after 2 PM. Pretty easy walking course except for hole 6 which is way uphill. Course in decent shape with the fairways starting to green up, although there are still some bare spots. . Bunkers were awful though. So hard packed it was impossible to hit a bunker shot. Greens were really good.

Shandin is what it is. The tee boxes are generally awful with lots of dirt and very uneven. Fairways have more grass than last year, but generally uneven with patchy different types of grass. The bunkers are very uneven in consistency, some with almost no sand.

On the positive the layout is interesting and the greens are excellent, although a little slower than at other times I've played. You can usually get a good deal here so it's worth playing every now and then.

Champions is a great layout and the course was in great shape other than the inconsistent bunkers. Some were fine and others lacking sand. Nonetheless fairways and greens were pristine.

It had been awhile since I played Oak Valley and I was very pleased with the course condition. Great fairways and the greens were great, although I bit slower than I remember.. 3 hours for a late Friday tee time can't be beat, although we did play through 2 slow groups.

Played a week after the overseeding. With the Rain a few days before playing coupled with the rough not mowed the course was very difficult. Should get back to normal in a week or so.

A few of the greens seemed to have some invasive weeds which is not normal. Hope than can clear this up quickly

Rustic is a fun links course with great greens. They was some scoring next to the greens which made the putting from off the green more difficult than normal, but still the course was in fine shape

The greens have always been fine with lousy fairways. But now the course conditions are much improved and worth a visit. No marshal and one very slow foursome that made the pace very slow.

This course used to be a private facility that is now open to the public. The course conditions were outstanding. The layout is totally flat with very mature tree lined fairways. Challenging greens with very subtle breaks made the round more difficult that I was expecting

This is a fine golf course that was in fairly good shape for February. There are some holes that back up play due to the driveable nature of these par fours. A little pricier than most courses in the area, but worth it every now and then

Maybe it's a good thing they are closing this course. Any green near a body of water is covered in coot dung and the fairways are very spotty. Maintenance seems to be a thing of the past. Too bad as this used to be a fine golf course.

Morongo has always been a great layout, but the fairways went south in the fall. Glad to see they are improving although not yet as pristine as they once were. I hear they have a new greenskeeper which is helping. greens as usual were awesome! Fast and true.

This course has really gone downhill. The fairways are mostly dirt with dirt mounds everywhere. This was never a 5 star course but it was usually OK. The greens are fine so if you want to practice your game off bare lies this is it. Otherwise go elsewhere

Was very surprised to find that the greens had been punched on Aug 31. Needless to say the greens were very bumpy , full of sand and not very good. The rest of the course is in fantastic shape, easily the best in the IE.

The course itself is very forgiving off the tee, but generally an interesting layout.

I play here now and then because it's a ways from my house. I was pleasantly surprised at the conditions - much better than last summer. A few brown patches, but for the most part in fine shape. It's a challenging layout and always a test of your golfing skills.

I play Morongo frequently and I love the layout. The conditions, however, have gone from excellent to awful in less than 6 weeks. Fairways have significant dirt patches and the rough is completely gone on most holes. The greens are still fine.

I'm going to pass on Morongo until they get it in acceptable condition. It's more than just the drought, it's poor greenskeeping

The reviews of this course seemed OK, but they must have been made by people that don't play courses in good shape. The tee boxes were dirt and the fairways had numerous dirt patches. Lot's of the fairways were uneven and full of bumps. I will say the greens were fine and everyone seemed pretty friendly

I paid $10 through golfnow and honestly I wouldn't go back even at that rate.

Played this for the first time. Great shape for the summer and an interesting layout. Prices were great. Greens are slow, but it's summer so to be expected. I'll be back.
