The course was in pretty good shape but the staff was exceptional. Pat went above and beyond to ensure we got out after a big event. The tee times were backed up but he managed the situation very well and we ended up being the first group out and finished in 2 1/2 hours. If all golf courses had a Pat taking that kind of personal interest in their patrons it would make for a better golf experience!

The course was in good shape and the facilities were nice. We got caught behind a group on the back nine that should not have been allowed to play. The foursome consisted of two guys and two girls who were playing out of the guy's bags. It was obvious they were beginners and extremely slow. I called the pro shop about the situation and said they were aware of it because someone else had called. Bobby in the pro shop said there really wasn't anything they could do about it. Crazy, they run the course and can't manage it!! They not only were losing revenue but also alienating patrons of their course.

The bag drop area and check-in was chaos. The starter was beyond obnoxious and the least friendly we have ever encountered. The tee times were running 45 minutes late and the starter was clueless and treated us like an inconvenience. Several of us just left. It was a total waste of our time and a horrible experience. Whoever is responsible for hiring at this golf course needs to be replaced. Overall, what a joke!

This was the slowest golf I have ever experienced. At one point there were 6 groups on one whole. They said there was a tournament coming off the course and we had to wait 30 minutes just to get a cart. We walked off the course in total frustration. When I informed the pro shop of the issue, he was very sympathetic but said the two people who marshall the course had left for the day. So did we!

The pace of play was beyond slow. The course was very wet with almost swampy conditions and many areas were unplayable. The overall experience was miserable.

I played the course a couple of years ago and it was in much better shape and a faster track.

The course is in excellent shape and has a fair, yet challenging layout. It is one of the better public courses in the metro area.

The course is in nice shape and is a good test of golf. The practice facilities are also good. The layout is a little trumped up and the par threes all look the same. The biggest issue is slow play. Due to the challenging layout, (hills and woods) play tends to be very slow which negates the quality experience of the course. Not unlike many courses, there are no marshalls so you are left to the devices of the quality of etiquette and quality of the players in front of you.

Annbriar is one of the best courses in the STL area, public or private. Nice design, well maintained and good pace of play. Overall an excellent golfing experience.

The course is in good shape and the staff is helpful, however they need an active marshall. The pace of play is slow and it was clear that some of the groups playing did not know proper golf etiquette.

Tapawingo is one of the best courses in the STL area. The three distinct layouts are well maintained and interesting to play. The only negative is the course can play slow due to the number of players and lack of supervision. I did not see a marshall on the course. I've played it during less busy times and it was a great golf experience.
