I was finally able to get to the Baton Rouge area to play Beaver Creek.....and it was well worth it! The last time that I played a course with greens like this was at a private country club. Put it this way, I only putted 23 times! The greens roll as true as I’ve ever been around. Very good layout, with the back nine a little more difficult. We played the men’s tees at 6340, but probably should have tipped it out so we could have hit the driver more and avoid the well placed bunkers. The pro shop staff very friendly and the Marshall quite helpful too. Will be back very soon!!!!!

I play this course on a regular basis. The greens have had a few issues in the past, but now they are coming around quite nicely. Approach shots check up, and the speed of the greens are way more consistent compared to a few months ago. As always, the staff is overly friendly and pace of play is around 4 hours including weekend play.

This was the second time in 4 years that I've played this course, and I don't understand why I haven't played it more. We played the Vista/Dunes courses. Great layout, fairways were in great condition, as were the greens. Probably need about 3 rounds to get a true feel/read on the putting. Speed was very good, but just didn't get the 'true reads' on the putts. I would highly recommend this course, and if you hit a great drive on the Signature Hole (#16), you HAVE to go for it in two!!!!!

Let me start by saying that there are not enough 'stars" to rate the professionalism of the golf staff. From the minute I stepped foot into the pro shop, Emily welcomed me, asked for my tee time, and told me that the beverage cart service was not available, so be sure to load up the ice chest with beverages from the grill because of the hot temps! The last time I was treated this nice was at a 5-star resort in Orlando! The course was in amazing shape, the greens held approach shots and putted true. The golf carts are equipped with touch screen range finders that were dead-on the correct yardage to the pin. This course is about 30 minutes north of I-10 in Kinder, and is well worth the drive from anywhere in south Louisiana. I'd have to say this is definitely a TOP 3 course in our state!

This course recently went from 27 to 18 holes. These 18 holes are of the "original" layout. 17 of the 18 greens were in great shape. There are 5 par 3's, with water in play on 4 of them. Very good track for the price, and staff was exceptional as always! My 80 year old father from out of town played and he raved about it the entire time! Watch the gators on # 17, LOL!!!!!
