Widgi Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/26/2021More expensive than pre covid years. The person at the front desk is rude. We encountered this same situation last year. I don't know what his problem is but we felt he was a jerk. Maybe we caught him on a bad day two years in a row. Maybe it is the covid.
The Bayonet at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course
Played On 10/30/2018Stunning views and a magnificent layout
I played theBlack Horse and Bayonet courses. There is one thing that they should sell in the club house for the serious golfer: "Complete Green Layout" The course has generally uphill greens, where the undulations are not known, false run offs are not to be seen, and with the greens running 13 on the stemp(spelling) meter, landing in a somewhat putt making position is nearly impossible. I only putted off the green three times; however, the other two golfers were having some four putt and higher greens.
The little booklet they sell in the pro shop does not cut it.
The course and all the pros and outside personal were top notch.
In spite of the sever handicap on not knowing what the greens held for me, I had a wonderful time, both days.
West at Rancho Canada Golf Club
Played On 10/30/2014Ranch Canada West Course
This is a very small but beautiful course just out side Carmel.
The pro shop was very friendly and helpful and paired me up with a local player. The fairways were tight, but could use some maintenance; however the greens were in fantastic shape and rolled true.

The back nine is worth the trip.
They were sending two people off when there were people waiting, and they did this the whole time I was there. The pro shop did not even mention that there was a driving range. Maybe I caught them on an off day.
Beautiful deer throughout the course.
Oak Quarry Golf Club
Played On 07/05/2014Excellent Greens
From the White tees this is a moderate rated course; however, the wind and heat take its toll on you. The starter was extremely cordial as well as the cart caddies. Overall, this was worth the money and is within driving distance of the San Gabriel Valley.
The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks
Played On 9/3/2012BEAUTIFUL SETTING AND LAYOUT.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAYOUTS IN THE COLORADO ROCKIES FOR NON COUNTRY CLUB GOLFERS. BY GOING ON LINE FOR YOUR TEE TIME, YOU WILL SAVE A LOT OF MONEY. THERE A QUITE A FEW HOLES WHERE PICTURES ARE A MUST ESPECIALLY WITH A QUALITY CAMERA.
THE PRO SHOP EMPLOYEES WERE JUST SO SO YET THE WAITRESS IN THE CLUB HOUSE WAS EXCEPTIONAL.
