This is a great course but the conditions have deteriorated steadily since Troon left. Overpriced and relying on its reputation.
Providence Golf Club
Played On 12/01/2017Overpriced and in poor condition. Terrible greens. Had to go to cart barn and tell them I needed a cart. Seven guys standing around. Save your money
Let's be honest we just started our winter over-seeding the week of November 20th and you do not cut greens until the grass has been established. We discounted our rates to reflect the grow-in conditions and notified via email, on our website and when calling in for reservations. This is regular annual maintenance of what most central Florida courses have to do to ensure high quality conditions in the winter season. Three weeks of bad for a full winter season of great.

I have not played Hunters Creek for a few years due to its terrible condition. I heard that since Integrity took over the conditions had improved. They had not. It was disgraceful. The greens were bare in places and bumpy everywhere. The fairways were in terrible shape. This is a great layout and a great location, but it needs a lot of work.
