This course sits about 10 miles from South Padre Island, so the coastal air is always in play. Only 3 holes play around the coast, (#3, #4, #5). The signature hole par-3 #3 is beautiful, but you should club up a few to reach the green. The further back your tee selection, the more brush you'll have to deal with to make the fairway. Fairways are smooth and rolling. There are a few greens that have two tiers, or more.

Bottom line, if you have a consistent swing, you'll be fine. If you are a little wild off the tee, bring extra golf balls.

Great course! Beautiful layout. But beware of the wind. It'll help you when you're downwind, but if you have a slice, you're dead.

#10 can be reached in two, but you have to cut the corner off the tee, and be VERY LONG on your 2nd, with a tailwind of course.

Island hole on #14 is a beauty.

#18 is reachable in two, just get a straight drive and the wind will take care of itself.
