Fullerton Golf Course
Played On 02/11/2024Best bang for your buck
If you're frugal like me, this is the course for you. It's narrow and challenging and the greens are are hard to read. Use your driver sparingly and you'll have a good round. The course has changes in elevation, but it's walkable.

This is the more fun of the two courses if you're an intermediate golfer like myself. Ike is just ridiculously long. A lot of strategy is needed on this course and course management is key. My only gripe is the $80 fee. It's a little pricey but I guess it helps attract only the clientele that know how to play at a good pace.

The guy at the front desk would not let us check in until 5 min before my tee time. The round was 6 hrs 15 min long. No marshals around on a course littered with fivesomes. No cart girl. Overall terrible golf experience.

Annual frost delay was in effect. The course was backed up about an hour. Couple that with the incredibly bad first group, I decided to just go home. I had already gotten to the course 45 minutes early to practice, waited an hour until the delay was lifted, and watched the first group take 15 minutes to get off the first tee box. I would have ended up being at the course for 8 hours if I had not left..
Thank for taking the time to review our course Rhoel. During this time of year, we do have a lot of frost delays. We suggest that you call the pro shop before you arrive to see if there is a frost delay and if so, how long will it push tee times back. We did monitor that group to ensure that they picked up their pace after their very slow start. We apologize that you did not have a good experience, and hope that you give us another chance.
