Bunkers rock hard. Sand badly needed.
Stay out of the bunkers. They are rock hard. There is one inch of sand then it's like concrete below. Worst bunkers i've seen of the last 25 courses I've played.

The design is challenging
Enjoyed the place. This course is worth the green fee. It may look a bit rough around the edges, but it is a very good track and if you can play golf, then it's all you can handle. Guaranteed.

PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course
Played On 05/06/2019Too bright in early AM
I found 6 of the first 7 holes were teeing off directly onto the morning sun and therefore wasn’t enjoyable.
Also the golf cart GPS stopped working which made it a challenge on a few holes that lacked contour and direction.
