Forest
Played two outstanding courses last week. Apple valley in lake lure and grove park in Asheville. Both were outstanding so this course could not compete. The front nine need work. The back nine was in very good shape. The cart paths were in very poor condition. The layout is good.
I thought Monday would not be busy but glorious weather so every golfEr came out.
Seems as if the course overbooked -very slow. Walker ahead also slowed the pace. My course does not allow walkers before 3.
Anyway paired me with a nice gentleman who knew the course ,was very helpful to me and a pleasure to play with. So I did have an enjoyable round.
I would recommend playing the course at the golf now. Discounted price. The value was good.
