Waterchase Golf Course
Played On 05/01/2020Great course!! Lots of challenging holes. LONGGG
Overall great course condition, bunkers, and greens. My only complaint is the end of the fairy on par5 #3. Hard pan with little to no grass making a short wedge approach nearly impossible to take out divot....turrrible.
Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course
Played On 05/22/2019Back in tip top shape
After recently constructions and tee trimmings, this course has sprung back to almost in its glory days. Nice fairways and greens, bunkers are well maintained. Tree trimming make this course now a lot more appealing and open but don't let that fool you, still can get into trouble if not careful off the box. Pace of play is quite slow on the weekends.
Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course
Played On 05/22/2019Coming along - East course
Fairways in great shape. Bunkers needs help but still have water damage from recent rains. Green were punched but seems like they are having issues growing.
The Golf Club At Fossil Creek
Played On 05/17/2019Great shape!!
Lush fairways, nice greens that are still growing in, and wel maintained bunkers. Expect a five hours round on Friday afternoon and weekend play.
Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
Played On 08/31/2017Beautiful course with bad golf etiquette
Top notch course with immaculate condition. 4 star rating due to being two single handicap golfers playing a 4:15 round because we got behind a group of old foursomes who has no business playing from the blues. Guess they had a money game going and was putting everything out. We were on them from the 2nd hole, NOT letting us play through. Apparently one of the golfer is the president of the golf association there so his poop doesn't stink. Talk about bad golf etiquette. TSK TSK.
If you are not a member there, don't expect a friendly wave from the old folks there, not all but most..... Just FYI
Lost Creek Golf Course
Played On 06/07/2017Cow pasture?
Due to recent rainfalls...and now two days with no rain, at least put a mower out there in the fairways. I've seen cow pasture in better shape. Fair ways look like the second cut. Absolutely embarrassing. Didn't even played the back 9, that's how bad it is. Needs A LOT of improvements, especially mowers. 1/2 of front 9 greens were dead. It's surrounded by beautiful homes, I'd be ashamed to live in this community with a "golf course"
Coyote Ridge Golf Club
Played On 07/28/2016Getting back to good shape. BUT...
Recovering well from the recent floods. Front 9 in immaculate condition. Back 9 coming back to good shape. BUNKERS needs lots of work either that or it needs more sand. It was packed tight. If you get in it, can't really figures out what type of shots needs to be made.
The Courses at Watters Creek - Traditions Course
Played On 07/24/2016Temporary Greens on 16 and 17
Beautiful course and layout. Good conditions overall minus the two temp greens on 16th and 17th, the pro shop failed to mention it to us...hmmmmm.
Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course
Played On 07/21/2016WEST course oming back nicely
It has been about 2 years since I've played here and heard it was going down hill. But since Arcis Mgt took over (same people that manages Iron Horse and Fossile Creek) it has came a long way back. Lots of tree has been trimmed making it more playable. We played the WEST course which is in great condition. Nice fairways with some puddling probably from watering in the am. Greens are nice but a tad slow. Does have some bare spots but do keep in mind that it is mid July. Workers present during my round which means they are up keeping the course. Give it another 6 months and it will be back to its glory days.
The Tribute Golf Club - Old Course
Played On 07/14/2016Beautiful Links style course
Facility and fairways in top notch shape. The greens were slow and needed a cut. It was a Thursday day and there were workers punching the first cut of greens and tee boxes as we were playing, which left to a lot of dirt laying around. Even though it's a links style course, lots of hazards and can definitely lose balls easily. Well maintained course/facility. No GPS or ball/club cleaners on carts. For $90 green fees, that's a must!
The Golf Club At Fossil Creek
Played On 06/26/2015Great course
Beautiful fairways/conditions except for #15 (I think) which really needs to be grounds under repair the whole way, it looks bad. Greens were punched 2 weeks ago and starting to grown in but lots of striations making putts bumpy. Besides that, definitely worth checking out.
Canyon West Golf and Sports Club
Played On 06/23/2015Fantastic course!!
Absolute beauty. I played on a Tuesday so I got finish in less than 3 hours. Course was in phenomenal shape, greens were nice and rolls true. Staff was very friendly. Absolute beauty.
Tip: if you don't know the greens, and on some hole it look like it will break one way but actually break the other way, So if you question yourself just play at the hole
Bridlewood Golf Club
Played On 02/15/2015Beautiful, especially in February
Hats off to the course management corp for taking pristine care of the course. Well manicured throughout the whole track. Could it be better? Probably but then the green fee will be well over the 100$ mark. I can't wait to play again in the Spring/Summer when EVERYTHING will be lush green.
Southern Oaks Golf Club
Played On 09/15/2014Needs some conditioning
Second time playing this course 3 months apart, and the fairway is pretty much the same as before, DRY mostly. You can find your tee shots in position A and managed to be in a dry patch/dirt, making sure approach shot virtually impossible. Greens are in excellent condition. Overall the course has beautifil layout and has lots of potential. LOOKOUT for fire ants as they got me 3 times during my round, they are everywhere!
#17 par 3, 240 yards NOT even from the tip......just got redone...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Didn't know I was playing on the PGA tour.
Glad you enjoyed the layout and condition of the course. Sorry about your fire ant run in. Please contact me directly for a make- up promo code at bailyteetimes@gmail.com
Whitestone Golf Course
Played On 06/17/2014Awesome shape
As of right now this course is in magnificent shape. Full tee boxes, lush fairways, and great greens. Go play it now before it's dry again like it was in the beginning of the year.
SugarTree Golf Club
Played On 05/27/2014Beautiful gem
I've read akot of review about this course so I decided to check it out myself. It's about an hour drive west of Fort Worth but all was worth it. Beautiful lay out with plenty of dog leg holes. Greens were in immaculate shapes on majority of the course, others needed work. Beatiful landscaping and scenery, saw two deer on #12 just chilling by the green. Course can be difficult and greens are small so make ALL shots count or else you will be punching out a lot. I was a single and played 18 in 3 hours and for $10. Can't get much better than that.
The Resort Golf Club
Played On 05/05/2014Great layout
Great track with lots of blind shots and narrow fairways. The green on some holes could really use some love. I played for $28 on Monday morning and played a 3 hours round so that was a big plus. Located inside a gated community with lots of constructions/house building going on right next to you, literally.
Iron Horse Golf Course
Played On 03/04/2014wow!!
just now writing this as i just played it last week. SO far as of March 2014, it is by far the nicest and most well kept course in DFW (besides Texas Star)….lush green fairways, nice (getting better) greens, excellent range, and good/friendly staff. If you can score a deal on GN, then its a must. Leave your driver at home as this course will test your will for pin point shots.
Cleburne Golf Links
Played On 7/30/2013Hidden Gem
Only paid $10 for the round on a Tuesday afternoon so I can't complain at all. BUT I was impressed by the newly model club house, brand new golf carts, and very well maintained course. It's not a hard course as there are no sand bunkers but it does have its fair share of narrow fairways and hazardous par 3s. It's a hidden gem through the country side of Cleburne with nice lake view on most holes. It's was 98* when I played and the lake water breeze really helped cools thing down a bit. Fairways are nicely lush but the greens were a bit irrigated with lots of sand. Pace of play was fast as i was a single and the 5-some in front of me was nice enough to let me through, which lead to a 2.5 hours round. Overall good course for the price.
We appreciate you taking the time to comment..... plan your return trip soon...... our greens are in excellent shape right now and our burger is a 5 time award winner
Lake Arlington Golf Course
Played On 5/17/2013Bang for the bucks!
Great course for great price! Nice and green (5/17/13) fair way. The green itself can use some work but not bad. Front 9 is easy, back 9 is where it gets tough. Picture-esque 240yds par 3 (14th) with about 100 feet of elevation changes.
Hi Trucledc.
Thank you for playing at Coyote Ridge. We are happy to hear that you have noticed our recent improvements after the flooding. We hope to have you back again soon!
