Great course layout with a variety of challenging holes. The pro shop and check-in staff provided excellent customer service, and a warm welcome. Some of the greens were lightly punched and very bumpy while others were smooth and in excellent shape. I wish they would have notified Golf now of the airification of some greens.

Wow what a surprise. I have not played Baytowne for several months but I’ve played it at least seven or eight times in the last couple years. The greens this time were the worst they’ve ever been. Even though they did not aerate recently the greens were very very bumpy and very long and slow. It was worse than putting on most fringes on nice courses. I will not go back again this year to many other nice courses in the area

I have played Kelly plantation at least 10 times and usually have a very good experience. As we arrived to drop our clubs at the bag drop no one was there so we had to get our bags out and load them on a cart ourselves. When we walked up and asked the guy that came up from the cart barn how do we get ice for the cooler he said to go inside with the cooler from the cart to get the ice ourselves! Then when we went to the bar the bartender was not friendly and had an attitude. I don’t remember her name but she had a sleeve on one of her arms. We were told we needed to buy some drinks from her to not have a charge for ice. Usually in the past there has been a man at the bar who is very accommodating and makes great drinks. Many of the fairways have some bare or thin spots on them. Looks like they’ve had some kind of disease. To spend well over $100 this was not a great experience . The only Kelly plantation associates that we found friendly and accommodating were the starter and the cart girl. I will not return for a while and stick with Regatta Bay and Emerald Bay golf courses which are in great shape and have excellent customer service.

Course layout has a good variety of holes. Tee boxes and most fairways are in good shape. Nice practice area. Greens are slow rolling about an 8 with some bumpy spots. Good value for $70 but not the condition of Kelly Plantation or Regatta Bay at this time.

Excellent customer service at bag drop and in the pro shop. Very limited golf cart beverage service. Course is challenging and nice layout. Greens are slow and could be cut a little shorter. Overall excellent value for $60.

I have played the course several times. The greens are usually very nice but they were bumpy and slow from being aerated earlier in the month. Fairways tees and traps are always nice. They should’ve offered a discounted rate for subpar greens or told us they were still bumpy from being aerated.

I’ve played this course several times and the greens were the worst I’ve ever played. It looks like they were aerated about three weeks ago but we’re still slow and bumpy. Definitely not worth 100+ dollars per round. I’ve played several times in the past and the course has been very very nice.
