Oak Ridge used to be one of the best bangs for the buck in WMass. Now, it's just a dog track. The tee boxes were always a little suspect, but they're worse than ever and now the fairways are garbage. The greens were healthy, but shaggy and slow.
This place is not worth the discount. There are much better courses in the area.

I have/do played/play here on the regular over the last 15 yrs. The greens on Sunday were shaggy and when they were cut, it was done so poorly that the cut lines were affecting the ball path on putts (almost as if they’d been aerated, but it was mowing lines). Also consistently more expensive than other local options with not much reason to be.

Can’t say enough good things about this course. Great layout, challenging but fair, tee-to-green, it was in fantastic shape.

This course got baked out real bad a few few years ago and is getting back to its previous better conditions. Some of the fairways have some patchy spots and some of the tee boxes are in rough shape still. The greens however are spot on!

The fairways here have always been a little bit of a dog track and there's some burnout spots on the greens. Overall, course is in decent shape and played pretty quickly. There's just much nicer places to play locally that are worth the extra $10-$20.

Perfect weather today. Course was in fantastic condition. Had to wait a few times but nothing too long.

Decided to play here with a buddy b/c it was a halfway point for us to play. Saw the star rating and figured it was worth a shot. First off, its a nine hole course, which I either didn't notice upon booking or was not at least obvious to me at the time. Knowing what other public courses are in the area, I definitely will opt to not play here again. The clubhouse is a dump and the course isn't much better.

For a place that used to be private, I was expecting much nicer. The cart paths are old and crappy, the bunkers are rock quarries and al it of the fairways have burn spots. Of the four courses I’ve played locally this season, this one was in the worst shape. WAY better options locally for the same or less money.

Ledges has been in great shape all year. A few burn spots in the fairways but with the recent heat wave, it’s to be expected. Everything else is in top shape

This course is in fantastic condition right now. A little spongy in spots and it’s currently cart-path-only (and should be right now with the amount of rain we’ve seen).
Staff was super friendly and accommodating also (this has not always been the case in the past.)

The tee boxes were beaten up and the greens were a little furry. Nevertheless, for $41 on a Sunday, this was a great deal and the layout of this course is the best in Hampshire county.

I've played here many times over the years and the course is in the best shape it's been in that time. Only complaint is they overbooked the course and pace of play was a little slow.

It's a relatively long, challenging course, but if you've never played here, there aren't ANY hole diagrams on the tee boxes or on the score card. The course was still recovering from all of the recent rain so it was a bit swampy. Fairways and tee boxes are nice, greens are HUGE, rough is thick and nasty.

For those of you who have not played here before, the front nine is (and always have been) substandard for playing surface and conditions. The tee boxes and greens are OK, and the fairways have improved over the years, but they're still not great. The back 9, however, is as nice as you could ask for a public course. It's a relatively narrow course that rewards ball placement off the tee. For the money, at the end of the day, this place is the best bang for the buck in WMass.
