Played here first time 7/21/19 and was quite impressed with the condition of the greens. At this time of year, most greens here in the valley are either pretty burned out or bumpy/shaggy.
Kudos to the greenskeeper as these greens were in great shape and VERY consistent speed from green to green.

Fairways were ok for this time of year and I expect would be quite nice in season.

The layout was pretty straightforward and the holes were fairly interesting with some toughies thrown in for good measure.

Course in very nice shape. Greens rolling about 11. Fairly easy track but trouble lurks so beware!

I live in Palm Springs but have done the one hour and ten minute drive many times just to play here. I never cease to be amazed at the beauty and challenge of the course. Some of the holes look like they were part of that series of paintings of "fantasy" golf holes.

All in all, the combination of risk/reward holes along with "thinking mans" holes is just perfect. Sorry that the fairways have taken such a beating in the drought, but hopefully El Nino will bring enough rain so that they can start watering regularly again.

If you need work on your short game, or want to play with "newbies" (or maybe your wife), this is the course for you.

Course was in very respectable shape and has some challenging holes.

Definitely worth the money. Don't forget to checkout AJ's on the Green restaurant after your round. Award winning cuisine and very nice.

Didn't expect much but was quite impressed. Greens were great and consistent from hole to hole. Fairways were also good. Weird rough but ok once you get used to it. Bunkers were consistent and just the right amount of sand.

Overall facilities were fantastic. Practice areas were really nice. Large practice greens, bunkers, etc.

Course is NOT for experienced golfers. It was close by so I thought I'd give it a shot. Group in front spent 10 minutes trying to hit their second shots. One player as trying to give instruction to the player who was whiffing, etc.

That said, it is a learning golf course so it was to be expected. But if you're used to expecting players to know golf etiquette, this course will drive you nuts.

This was opening day so the overseed was still pretty shaggy. I have played here before and it's a solid value for the money.

Considering the time of year, the course was in great shape. Greens were very consistent. Fairways were pretty short given that the chance of burnout was quite high at that length.

Bring your A game as there is quite a bit of water to carry and/or avoid. I don't think this is a course for the novice player.

Courses was in very nice shape. Greens were fast and tricky. Pace of play was sub four hours. Would play here again.

Greens very consistent. Course well maintained considering it was just prior to "scalping". Most holes have risk/reward so if you want to try for the"miracle" shot you can get a great score if you're successsful.

Nice greens. Rough too rough. Pace of play very slow, but some of that was due to not being able to find your ball in the overly long rough. If you're going to play, block out a whole day.
