Classy course

Classy operation with great staff, very impressive, good design, great landscaping. Fun course, lots of water. Tee time was deal but after a big scramble event, and with cart path only due to reseeding. Round is supposed t o be 4 hr 26 minutes but only got in 13 holes in four hours. Will play again but play early to finish.

NIce day of golf

Played non member shotgun. Pro shop is very friendly, Greens were good and true, and while course is not highly manicured, fairways had healthy grass. (Note, fairways recently hole punched...) Back 9 runs along the pecan groves, water comes into play on several holes. Back has some pretty vistas. For a course in the center of town, check it out if you have opportunity.

Enjoyed Canoa Ranch

Had a nice round as a single on Sunday, great deal thx Golfnow. Fairways still in winter condition, so kind of scrappy, but greens looked beautiful and well cared for, not fast but very true. Tee boxes were in good shape. Wish I had a course playbook for a few distances. Saw some javalinas on the 16th.

nice resort style course

Played for the first time after lite rain had cleared up. Played the Ortero and Anza, course in good condition. They are reseeding on a rotation basis, was not affected. Pretty easy to stay out of trouble, a couple of blind approach shots make it fun. Iphone photos never do a course justice. Classy place, was happy to play via Golfnow.

nice resort style course

nicely maintained with lots of challenge, but accuracy especially on front 9 and you are fine. Some gorges to hit over, wind can be strong in foothills, so club up. Nice landscaping, nice design, enjoyed it and will play again. Nice signage design, good restrooms, beautiful clubhouse. big practice area and range.

Always enjoy this course

My favorite local course, front 9 has nice terrain and elevation changes, more interesting than the back 9. Great vistas of local mtns and several fairways along the Santa Cruz riverbed, which actually had water flowing. Fairways in great shape from all the rains. Again, always enjoy playing here and I think its a great value.

Nice shotgun at Quail Creek

Played course for first time on weekend shotgun, our foursome played silver tees, had a good time. Course is really nice, well maintained tee boxes, fairways pretty lush, the greens were like glass and pretty tough, maybe too tough, dried out perhaps. Nice desert vistas, beautifully landscaped. Water on 2-3 holes, but not an issue. Will play again. Challenging on some, very fair overall.

NIce play at friendly course

Played 9 holes only at the tenth..what a good deal. This should be offered more at Green Valley courses. Not everyone has time to play 18. Staff was extra nice and friendly and back 9 was wide open early on a Saturday. The course has nice variety and terrain, was well groomed, can't speak for bunker conditions as did not land in one. Fairways were in good shape, greens somewhat spotty. Will definitely play again.
