First off, every course i think is struggling to adjust to the demand of carts for golfers because they are having to have people go out 1 person/cart. i played 3 courses this week, they all had their issues, so i will not weigh that in my review. although i think this course did a good job with staff preparedness and facilities readiness for the crowds of people and maintaining safety.

the course: i’m probably biased because i shot one of my personal best scores here on my first time playing, probably due to the short length. but if you’re like me , i don’t care about the course being unusually short, better scores = more fun. the conditions of the grounds were great, no real complaints to be had. greens were clean and rolled well, fairways/rough cut well, tee boxes all in good shape. i walked so i only paid $28, i was supposed to go off with a threesome of riders, but they let me play ahead by myself, and i didn’t have any real issues with pace of play the whole round, finished in 3.5 hours.

I recently moved to the area this spring, and have played numerous public courses in the area for a similar price and they do not come close. Pennsauken has the best course conditions, amenities, staff that you could find in the area. The course itself is on the short side so longer hitters/lower handicappers might not find the track layout as enjoyable, however it is still the best bang for your buck for public golf in South Jersey/Philly area. I see why this course is always the most booked, I can’t wait till i get a chance to play again.
