Drainage work performed on the course has improved conditions tremendously.

Very disappointed in the course conditions! Total lack of maintenance in many months. No staffing including pro shop, starter, Marshall, only one person in bar /restaurant area to sell tee times. No tee markers on the worn out teeing area's Multiple flooded bunkers which haven't been machined since last fall. All this while charging Top Dollar on a Monday morning. Need I say more ??

This is a superb test of your golf skills, the two courses at Orange County National are challenging but fair. It is pure golf , it is spacious and does not have housing to negotiate between. Designed for golf not a "real estate " development with a golf course stuck in. I was impressed with the fact that the fairways are not sloped down into the lakes, so that you have a chance to play your next shot without a penalty if you are slightly offline with your tee shot, unlike some other Florida courses. I believe that The PGA is going to contest The Korn Ferry Q school final stage there in a few weeks.

I have to commend the staff on their response to the devastating winter storms. it was clearly evident that the course had lost over a dozen large trees and another few dozen had lost many limbs and branches. In spite of that the grounds crew and course superintendent had cut up /and or removed the trees, cleared the cart paths and repaired any damaged green surfaces. great effort to have the course open and very playable.
