My friend and I took advantage of this course being temporarily open to the public. Nice layout with several unique challenging holes. Some grass was a little patchy, but that's to be expected with our unrelenting heat. Overall it was in pretty good shape. Very few amenities as they are finishing renovations of the clubhouse but the starter was very friendly. I'll definitely try this one again before they close to the public.

Stop emailing me! I'm not going to take the time to review every course I visit. I am finally responding to this, the 14th, email. I don't have the time. Because of this inconvenience, I am lowering all of my stars. There are dozens of golf courses near me and none have been THIS persistent.

This was the first time here for my friend and I. Great little course! Everything from the tee boxes to the greens looked great. No dead patches anywhere. The layout was easy but fun. The fairways are wide open and forgiving for those shots that go a little off target. All the staff were very friendly. We had a great day and will definitely be back!

A very challenging course. Shot control is a must, or bring lots of extra balls. The course was in great condition. Amenities will always get a lower score because this course has a rare setup that does not return to the clubhouse after the first 9. Coolers are not allowed and there are very few places to get water. Also, there was no beverage cart attendant. This can be a problem in 90+ degree heat. Otherwise I had a great day.

Only 3 stars for course conditions because of the soggy conditions and the recent aeration. This would be an amazing round if not for that. I will definitely come back!

This was my first time at this course. I go a lot of places around Central Florida and was pleasantly surprised with Pelican Bay. Course conditions were pretty nice except for a few dead patches on some of the greens. Layout was not super difficult but did create some challenging shots around some of the dog legs. Stay in the fairways to avoid the many canals and small ponds running along side. Pace was good except for the foursome of older gentlemen in front of us. Practice facilities were great. I will definitely return soon.

I always enjoy playing this course. The weather was beautiful. The course was in great condition. Pace was a little slow today because of a drunken foursome ahead of me. Had fun playing with a member on the front 9, then was alone on the back. I always come back here because of the challenging course layout, excellent condition, and fair pricing.

This course is always very well maintained and a joy to play. Many holes are challenging but that makes it even more rewarding. I love coming here! It's a great value for the price. ONLY complaint are the areas of standing water that won't drain properly, creating unexpected water hazards.

This course has a great layout. It's fun, challenging, but not too hard. I've been playing here since last winter and it was great. Since then the course conditions have sharply declined. The rough looks like a goat field, and the fairways are full of sand patches. The place needs some serious TLC. I only golf here now when it's really cheap. Many nearby courses have recovered from our rain, draught, rain phases. But Glen Abbey is in need of better maintenance. I would love to see this course come back to its former glory.

This is a beautiful course. Lots of attention paid to keeping all the grass immaculate. Narrow fairways make for some challenging shots that demand a degree of accuracy. Cons: Lots of areas for standing water after the heavy rain that fell the night before. The snack bar was closed resulting in us being overcharged for our mid-round hotdogs and beer. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

This is always a great course to play. It's challenging and always very well maintained. Only 3 for pace because of the 3-some in front of me having more fun getting drunk than hitting the ball. I truly enjoy coming here.

This is a great but challenging course. Grasses are well manicured but the rough makes for hard shots if you step outside the fairway. Most holes are pretty narrow, requiring accurate shot placement.

I love the layout and changes in elevation in an otherwise flat part of Florida. This course is challenging but fun. Watch out for strategically placed bunkers guarding the greens.

Great course for the money! Fairways were beautiful and the greens were great but kinda slow. Sand bunkers everywhere make it challenging. I will definitely be coming back!
