I have always been a fan of SBW. The conditions have gone down lately and I hope they come back up. With that said the price could not be beat. The fairways had some very bad conditions on some holes. I must admit I treated this as ground under repair and created the lie I should have had. Utilizing this questionable technique resulted in me having a great time regardless of conditions.

If you play Legends you will not be disappointed. It has some very interesting holes and it always makes you think.

Everything just appeared to be good enough. Condition, cost and course, Just average.

I love this course. Hated my round. After 9 I found myself behind some very bad players that carried themselves as pros. I quit on 13. I just could not take it anymore. Too bad.....it is a lot of fun.....Courses really need to get this under control. It makes a fun round a miserable round.

This is a great course. All holes are unique and interesting. You must chose a club wisely. A little to far and you are through the fairway.

I really love the layout of this course. Nearly every hole is unique and challenging. I highly recommend this course. You will enjoy it if you accept the fact that it is challenging. Too often course designers substitute cruelty for creativity. This is not the case. It is a great track that keeps you thinking. It is a blast.

It appears that if a course has a big name it gets a good review without thought. I just played Grande Lakes and I can't remember a hole. It is very forgettable. Well maintained but forgettable. It has tee boxes, fairways and greens so technically Greg Norman designed them a course. I am fairly certain there is a golf course design app that could have done just as good. Very lazy Mr. Norman.

I was very happy to see Zellwood on Golfnow. It has always been central Florida's best kept secret. It has a great terrain and is always well maintained. You will not receive mango towels on the course just great golf.

I love the terrain this course is built on. In Florida we lack the hills that make golf interesting. SR is the exception.

I would not have recommended this course after only playing it once. Blind tee shots into sudden death is not my idea of a good time. However after 3 times I love it. I appreciating the baiting that takes place with this course. If you leave your game at home make sure that you leave your ego as well. Shots that you think you can make, you can't. Once you see the results you may need a grief counselor. That being said if you take what the course gives you and let your playing partners be the heros, you will have a great time.

Swiss is rarely in good shape, but it is what it is. A hyper cheap course that can be fun to play. Unfortunately at that price point you have a lot of newbie golfers that A do not know how to play and B do not know how to step aside. It really destroys a round of golf. Unfortunately the Ranger seems to be a thing past at most courses. It has made some courses unplayable.

I just love this course. You do not feel like you are in Florida. If more length was possible it would be a PGA candidate.

I really like this course. Most holes are interesting.

It is great for what it is. There should be more places like this around. Great for a quick round day or night.

It is a nice place to practice your approach shot. I will go there again and again for that reason.

I enjoyed Sweetwater. It is an interesting layout and fun to play. Most holes are a little tight for me and my driver. Moving up a tee and grabbing my 3 wood solved that. One thing that could use some work is the greens. They were not horrible so I don't want to create a picture in anyone's mind. They just were not as good as they could have been. From one to the next for me the speed varied greatly. Mostly very slow. Just when I got accustomed to the slow greens they threw in a very fast one to keep my on my toes. Not a big fan of that.

if there was a rating between maintained and needs attention Remington would get it. The necessary areas were maintained but it just did not look great. However the golf course was interesting. Interesting, seams to be typical for Clifton/Ezell golf courses. If you can play for $30 this time of year it is worth it. But had I spent more I may have been disappointed. But I do endorse Remington. Fun to play.

If you are looking for something to do while you walk this may be for you. However I do not really care for this course. Tiny fast greens do appeal to me. On at least one hole the pin placement was in a location that the ball could not stay within 25 feet if you placed it. However, I like to walk and play. With the casual wildlife and nice setting I will go back. Hated the course but I appreciate the nice walk.

It is the best value for a maintained course you can find.
