Played Saturday afternoon and got a great deal. Was expecting a long round but surprisingly wasn't overly crowded. Was such a great deal that couldn't expect too much, we had a great time. I do wish the greens were cut lower and were faster and truer (they are very slow, VERY). That's my only gripe, but we did have a great time. Saw a little gator on 17 too. That was pretty cool.

It's my own fault for not knowing the overseeding schedule. The greens were left long, literally like a fairway. When I asked the friendly staff told me they would be back to normal length in a couple weeks. I still had fun and worked on my game, but the greens made it impossible to even keep score.

Again, totally my fault. Wait a couple weeks.

The course was in great shape and we had a great round. We had to wait on every hole, which was the only downside.

Clearly the drought has taken its toll, so I understand that. However, there were literally dandelions in the first fairway and it looked like it hadn't been mowed in weeks. As I finished my round I could see that #9 fairway was being mowed, but other wise, none of the course fairways were recently mowed before I teed off at 1pm.

It was very annoying that the pin placements did not match the card. The pin placements were listed as #5 on the card but they were random on the course. Not good since it was my first time playing there.

Stunning views and landscape. Watch out for rattle snakes, saw one on 17 in the bushes.... Needless to say, I took a drop instead of chipping out.....
