What a shame

This course used to be really good. Always in great shape and great layout. It’s a shame the course has fallen into such bad shape. Fairways are very bad, probably the worst I’ve played on this year. Tee boxes were in average shape. Greens however I thought were in prett good shape and rolled true. Sand traps had little sand in them and the 2 I hit out of essentially felt like hitting off dirt. Fit and finish of the course was poor. Gave me the feeling the course is in financial trouble. Cart paths were in poor shape as were bridges on 10. Stairs leading too and from tees were in very poor shape as well. Course just no longer has that top end feel.

Hi, we are sorry that you found our course in less than desirable shape. The weather has definitely been a scorcher which effected the course. But, we are working diligently to get it back to its top shape. Your feedback is important to us, and we hope that you will consider returning in the near future.

Good job greens crew

Course condition greens and fairways was probably the best I’ve played locally this year.even better than some Columbus courses you’d expect to be better. The greens crew has done a great job. Staff is always friendly and again for the price it’s tuff to find a course in better shape. Front 9 layout is pretty interesting, back 9 feels like you are hitting the same 2-3 clubs over and over on each hole. They do need to get a ranger on weekends. Course gets busy and groups will jump on where ever they want and will not let faster golfers play through.

Ok for locals not worth a drive

This course was pretty average except for pace of play. I and a buddy drive about an hour to get there, we could have played any course we passed while driving and would have been just as pleased with our experience. Although the clubhouse staff was very friendly, the mowing staff stayed with us through several holes and continued to mow apparently oblivious to our presence. The course is very straight forward. Very little elevation change. Very little creativity in design(play the same shot over and over). Average to below average condition( greens were good, fairways below average and ruff average). I will say the 5th hole was very scenic though. Overall it's an average course. If you have to drive over half hour, play something closer. If you are a local, no reason not to play other than slow pace of play, and that may have just been a fluke.
