The course was in very good shape, and the pace of play was pretty good.

About 3-5 years ago this course went through a complete renovation with a complete course layout change. It is all grown up and has taken the changes well. The fairways are very nice, the Tee boxes are good could use a (touch) of leveling. You have to move the ball, choose your clubs wisely. The only criticism is that the greens are slow and fuzzy. It did seem that they had been punched a week or two ago. All that being said, it is a good value for your round

The course is what you expect, the holes you have seen on TV over and over. Cool to see the shots and try and duplicate them. The one thing you realize is the pros are LONG! Play from the blues and it's all you want play from the Gold and you will not have much fun. Play from the whites and it will be a fun day.....EXCEPT... The greens are a joke. They trick them out and place pins on sides of hills where you can not putt. One hole I hit a perfect drive and 5iron into the green 20' below the hole. Putted it up to 1foot and the ball would not stay and rolled back to my feet 4times before our group said screw it! Everyone in the group had the same issue and it happened on several holes only ONE DAY after a lot of rain in the DFW area. Don't waste your dollars here. Way too many good courses. Drive a little further and play Bridlewood.

Well, I was paired with a guy who had played golf 4x total, and to top it off it was cart path only!

With all of the rain in Texas, the greens here were AMAZING!!

I have played this course many times and everytime I go back it is worse. The layout of the course is not the issue. The fairways are poor and sparsely grassed, the greens are BAD! It is April and they are already almost dead/ dirt. The only good thing is the bunkers. Don't waste your time go across I-35 to hidden creek. Truely amazing when the neighborhood has 300-500k homes. Go figure?

You better score early on this course. It will bite you quick in the first par three. Do not be fooled by the first 4 holes, you will wish for a break later in your round. Worth playing over and over
