This is the second time playing Esplanade. The course is growing in very nicely. They are still building a clubhouse so it’s not complete. For golf, the facility is great. Nice practice area, professional and considerate staff. Tough but fair course with fast, undulating greens. There was no gps in the carts but they provided a very comprehensive yardage book in each cart. Plenty of rest rooms and water & ice machines along course. I can’t think of a better course in the area..

We come back to Waterlefe every winter because it is one of our favorite courses in this area. Excellent course condition and layout. Greens are still fast which I like unlike some courses in the area. Two issues this time. The pace of play was slow. We waited a bit on most every shot and fell behind about 15 minutes on our GPS. We were right with the group ahead of us on every hole until we hit hole 16 and we all found water trouble and fell behind. The next hole the Marshall shows up and tells us to pick it up. Ridiculous. Also we never saw the beverage cart after hole 2.

Bent Tree is an OK course for the Sarasota area. The layout is traditional old style with wide fairways. Grass was sparse in areas on tee boxes and fairways. The greens were consistent but very slow. The cart person seemed to be avoiding us most of the round. Pace of play was generally good. We finished in 4 1/2 hours. We would consider returning if other better courses weren’t available.

I decided to travel to this course because it was open in mid March. Temps were in the low 50’s and there was still snow on a few holes. The greens were probably the slowest I’ve ever played but they may be faster when the grass is growing. The front nine layout was fine but the back nine had some strangely designed holes. Overall condition of the course was not so good but it was golf in winter after all.

Overall one of the better courses in the area. Many narrow fairways that are challenging to hit. The greens are firm and very fast. Good service throughout. The course is getting more expensive to play in recent years, perhaps overpriced. A reliable choice for the area.

My wife and played this course for our third time. We both enjoyed the day thoroughly. The course layout is challenging but fair. Greens were fast enough and in good condition. Overall fairway grass was good with a few patchy area. The price was higher than past years but we were pleased that the pace of play was very good and the course not over crowded. Would play again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf at Legacy Golf Club. This is one of the finer courses in the area. Course layout is challenging but fair for all handicaps. A lot of water that is impossible to completely miss. Firm and tight fairways. Greens were in great shape. Better condition than most of the courses in the area. Busy course but pace of play was less than 4.5 hrs. Not inexpensive to play but reasonable for the quality of course.

Decided to play this course to tune up our game. A mix of par 3’s and par 4’s to make Par of 60. Very firm on fairways and near greens. Challenging layout with plenty of water. Greens were true and reasonably fast. Nice place to eat by the pool after our round. We played in 3 hours so the pace was good. Would recommend for someone looking for a fun, short course in Bradenton.

Decided to play this course since it was open the first week of March. For the money it was a very enjoyable round. Good conditions for early spring. Not overly difficult but challenging with the wind.

First time playing this course and really enjoyed. Overall good conditions, The layout was challenging and for my wife and me. Would play again.

Excellent new course worth playing in the area. Very challenging layout particularly if windy. We played in just over four hours. The course is very new and my only issue was that the greens were very slow. Still I would recommend.

One of the nicer courses in the Bradenton area. Friendly staff. Practice range balls included with greens fee. Course was in good condition. The fairways were firm and somewhat thin in spots. Greens were excellent. The course layout is moderately challenging although somewhat congested. We finished in 4 hours. One issue with restrooms. Don’t pass by the “halfway house” on hole 6 because you won’t see it again until hole 13.

Excellent new course. My wife and I played on a very windy day before a storm came in. The staff did a great job getting us off a few minutes early. The course is excellent and very, very challenging in 20+ mph winds. I would love to play in calmer conditions. Best greens in the area. A lot of home construction in the area so noisy and dusty. Be forewarned. No bathrooms so my wife had to use a portalet which she wasn’t too thrilled with. We saw the beverage cart twice in 18 holes. We played in 3.5 hours. We liked the course and will be back next year. It’s clearly one of the best courses in the area but could use some maturing.

My wife and I played holes 10 thru 27. The course condition were among the best in the area. The course was challenging but fair. No outrageous water carries, The staff were all super friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the bar afterwards since we had a late round. Would definitely play again.

The course was not too difficult and very firm so the ball runs. Fairways were tight is so so conditions but the greens were fast, smooth and overall nice. We had slow play at first but it picked up and we finished in 4:20. Layout is over all interesting and not too difficult. For the money a good value. Older but decent facilities and staff was friendly.
