Good course, ok pace

Played here with my son this week and had a good time. The course layout was nice and provided us with a good challenging experience. We started by each getting a large bucket of balls and headed to the range. The range was mats, but was fine. A large putting green was also nice to putt around before our round started. Carts were nice, but the GPS units had been removed and all that was left was a wire and mounting bracket. We were able to play as a twosome and was stuck behind a couple groups of 4, so we waited some at each hole. No opportunity to play through. There was a starter, but we never saw him after we started the round. Pace was ok, we finished 18 holes in just over 4 hours, so not too bad. Beverage cart lady was super friendly. Carts did have coolers on them, so that was a bonus. Would play this again if we make it back to the area.

Great course, friendly staff

I played this course with my son this week and had a great time. When we arrived at the bag drop, we were greeted by a very friendly cart assistant who delivered our cart to us. When I jumped in to park the vehicle, he proceeded to follow me and give me a ride back to the clubhouse. We spent some time putting on the practice green, but didn’t know they had a range until we made the turn and grabbed some food. Looked like a water range. Not sure what kind of balls they used for that. The starter was very nice and allowed us to play as a twosome which we prefer. Pace was fine and we finished 18 holes in just under 4 hours. Challenging course and fairly well taken care of. Would recommend this course.

OK course, slow pace and nothing you can do about it

Played this course with my son this week and had an ok time, but the negative comments about pace of play are very true. We went off the first tee at 3:52 and finished 9 holes at 6:54. We ended up quitting and heading back to the resort as we were not going to get many more holes in before dark. Not a typo, 3 hours for 9 holes and it was painful. You can can only play as fast as the slowest group out there and from what we experienced, no other groups are willing to let you play through. Don’t blame them as there wasn’t really anyplace to go. At times, we were stacked up 3 deep on the tee box. After you leave the clubhouse, you will not see another employee of the course with the exception of the beverage cart. Thankfully, she was the only one on the course doing her job. Overall, liked the design of the course and the greens were running fairly well. Would not recommend this course, especially if you are vacationing. Your time is too valuable for a 6 hour round of 18 holes. Side note: Range was fairly nice and there was a nice putting/chipping green next to the range. Also, a putting green just left of the first tee.
