The front nine is forgiving for loose tee shots. It’s possible to score from the ruff. The greens are perfect and very fast. You don’t want to be above the pin though. The back nine is more demanding. You have to hit the fairways or it’s OB. Fun holes on the back that will challenge any handicap. Pace of play is a perfect 3 to 3.5 hours. The staff is friendly and the maintenance crew treats the course like it’s their back yard. Great value for your time and money...

The course is very challenging from the tips. For a municipal, it's in very good shape. Greens are fast and true. Plenty of risk-reward holes to play it safe or go for it. Friendly pro shop and good food service as well as a bar. For under $50 it's a real value.

This is a very challenging course. A premium is placed on hitting fairways. The rough and waste areas are brutal. Good luck finding your ball when you hit it in it. The tee boxes are terrible. There are divots everywhere and some are just not level. The fairways and greens are great. The greens don't look it but they are fast! I would recommend Empire Lakes a must play...

I have played Hidden Valley numerous times and it never gets old. Thre are so many risk-reward holes. They make for an exciting round. The staff is friendly and the course conditions were great. There were a few holes that were too wet but for $39 and a group of 4 playing under 4 hours, it's hard to find a better deal.
