not allowed so didn't play & got a rain check

Pro shop staff sarcastically said ( for hot deal ) you're here to play for free. Twosome & Foursome ahead
made no effort to let play through. Greens are aerated
and sandy, Course is poorly kept up. Played this course
just a one time for the year. Don't plan on returning.

Golf Shop personal friendly and professional. Pace of
play was excellent. Definitely play here again.

Short fun course. Good quick round less than 1.5 hours.
Minnechaug Golf Course

Slow, untalented course of players. No sense of place of
play. A 1&1/2 hour round turned into a 3 hour unpleasant
experience for 9 holes. Next time avoid sunny August days!

Traps had no sand . all poorly maintained.

Temps in the low 40's had the whole course to myself
most of the round. Fairways & especially the greens
were in good shape. Not cold enough yet to stop for
the winter.

A last round of summer-like conditions temp. wise.
Course in pretty good shape as greens were being
watered today. A bit windy round but good pace of
play. Negative - Sand traps could benefit from more
care and sand.

Staff and pace of play were very good. Very hot day
and drinking water stations were welcomed. Good course but a little less kept up.

Mornings must be ladies days. Slow pace, not playing
through, Laddies Hit it 25yards at a time, then stop for next partner's shot - no ready golf. An 1 1/2 hr round becomes a 3hr one ( 9 hole round ). Have to stop and wait to hit before every one of my shots.
Bottem line: avoid weekday morning rounds.

Course was in great shape and well maintained.
Rough was long ( as usual ) and distance off the
tee is important. Only negative - traps could use
some more sand.
Tower Ridge Country Club

Course has an interesting layout. Wide range of
shots neessary. Greens & fairways in good shape.
Sorry that it had rained. Many of our golfers walk so unfortunately Apple Nine does not have continuous cart paths so there are a handful of days where carts can't go out. Hope your next round is more fun!
