This Course Has It All

One of my favorite courses that I have ever played. The conditions are immaculate, The tee boxes and fairways are perfect. The greens are incredibly fast, consistent and true.

It is a short course but still very challenging with a lot of blind shots and elevation changes. Incredibly fun layout with some good scoring holes.

The views are so good throughout the course that it becomes challenging to focus on your shot, especially around the middle of the back 9 as you reach the highest elevation on the course.

Staff is awesome and friendly, if you stay at the lodge which I did you check your clubs with the valet, they show up at the course on a cart for your tee time, and end up cleaned and back with valet at the hotel after your round.

If the course has a downside it is the cost, $150 if you are staying at their lodge is expensive but a great deal for this course, but the $270 greens fees if you're not staying at the lodge is steep. Having said that, the greens fees are for unlimited golf, not 18 holes so book yourself 36 and it easily becomes worth it, you will not regret it!

Best Course in the are for the $$$

I play here once or twice a week, you will not find a better course in this area relative to the cost. It is not a long course and it is extremely wide open, so you will score low here. Fun layout with some drivable Par 4s and some high risk/high reward holes. The course being so wide open leads to some challenging winds. Staff is always friendly. Pace of play is usually good in the mornings but slows down a bit in the afternoons and on weekends, they do as good of a job as they can to manage it but they are always busy.

My favorite public course in MA

They care about their course and it shows. Greens are always in great shape, fast and consistent. really fun layout with a lot of unique and challenging holes, especially the home stretch. Holes 14-18 are awesome with 18 being one of the best finishing holes around. Good value for the money especially considering it includes unlimited range balls and you can hit off grass.

Bar/restaurant is good but they lack any sort of locker room/changing area, only real downside. Pace of play can get slow sometimes but they are usually on top of it, I have seen the rangers giving groups warnings and keeping them moving.
